Great review! Thank you for sharing!!!! 🥰
What an EXCELLENT review and demonstration! Thanks for doing this. I needed to see this..
Thanks so much, always happy to help. Cheers
Thanks man..Nice one.
Great review thanku
Thank you! I bought exactly the same reflector and it is excellent. I find it very useful in my studio especially because I work on my own and this reflector is free standing so I do not need an assistant to hold it.
Many thanks for the kind words and happy to help.
Thank you so much for this info😊
Very welcome, happy to help.
Thank you ...
Great video! the only thing I wish you added was a photo of you without the reflector in front. But I'm subscribing. ^_^
Many thanks for the kind word. This video has been hugely popular. You might find my video on Mola beauty dish conversions of interest as well. Cheers
Very helpful video
Thanks
Nice
Thanks for the great review, do you think this would work well with video/interviews? Does this work when people aren't looking directly in the camera?
No, I think it would be in the way for interview style unless you purposely set it up to be out of frame. Then it would work well depending on how close it is to the subject.
Cool video
That's very kind, please subscribe it's huge help. Thanks soooo much. Cheers
Thank you. I'm considering this as well as the flat reflectors. Do you think the clamshell shape makes much of a difference in the way you're using it here, as opposed to a flat rectangle or a more oval design? It seems to me that a flat one would be more versatile.
a white flat foam core board is the minimum for a reflector but it doesn't give you any where as good a quality nor does it give you the ability to change between white, silver or gold etc. I have the collapsible reflectors which give those options but still prefer the clamshell for serious headshots in my studio. Hope that helps.
THANK YOU! I’m commenting for the vaccine shout-out especially. You’re saving lives!!
Thanks so much for your kind comment. Paul
Great review! Do you find that using this reflector presents a challenge for shooting people wearing eyeglasses? The examples you showed were without glasses.
Not at all for 2 reasons; 1. most glasses now have anti-glare coatings that do a great job of killing hot spots, 2. it's so easy to remove hot spots by making sure your lighting is at a 45deg angle to your subject. ie. even when the light comes from above it reflects off the clamshell at a 45deg angle give or take so I haven't encountered a situation I couldn't modify by simply changing the angle of the light. Hope that helps. Cheers
@@PTPhotoGearReviews thanks for the answer. I suspected that tweaking the angles would be sufficient to get the glare out but wanted to confirm.
No body messing with that vaccine
