I'm a carpet cleaner in West Sussex. I cleaned some carpets for an older lady this morning. I said she should listen to Boom radio as it plays older music. She said her son's in a band. I was thinking in and around Brighton or similar.

jim's voice sounds fresh , his voice just gets better with age, and william with that buzz saw guitar sound just harks back to early mary chain. such a fucking brilliant song .

I like how Jim still wears those black and white striped shirts. I saw him by chance in Tokyo at a train station the day before their show and he was also wearing one. It didn't strike me that it was him until after he passed by.

Hoy soy feliz, The Jesus and Mary Chain anuncian nuevo disco, la continuación de "Damage & Joy" de 2017. Parece que los hermanos Reid entran en nueva sintonía tras sus brutales peleas “Jamcod”, con sus absorbentes cajas de ritmos es el adelanto de una nueva reconciliación, de hecho el tema surgió de "recordar problemas dolorosos del pasado" en referencia a la ruptura de la banda. Han grabado este artefacto en el estudio que Mogwai tienen en el Castle of Doom (Glasgow), justo donde grabaron su hasta ahora último disco de estudio, "Damage & Joy", de 2017.
El nuevo álbum, el octavo de estudio en su carrera estará compuesto por doce pistas. Se publicará el 8 de marzo de 2024 , coincidiendo con el 40 aniversario del primer single "Upside Down" que lanzaron en 1984. La banda también anuncia una autobiografía y un documental.
