If you don't mind sharing, which colours did you use for the cotton string?

I believe the yellow is called “deepest mustard” and the beige is called “linen”. 😊

I've always wondered how you decide what size warp string to use. Is it based on the type of yarn being used or something else?

[@spruceandlinen]

The answer is... it depends haha. For pieces like this, it's more for the look of the warp string than the size of it, linen is more muted and natural looking so that's why I chose it here. For a mug rug or bookmark where I want to use the warp string as the fringe, I prefer doing 8/8 cotton double warped so the "fringe" looks nice and full when it's combed out. 4/8 cotton is a great choice for when you don't want to notice the warp string very much since it's the thinnest I use.
