Your illegally filming on private property for views. Cheap.
Ticket claimers are in the back so when you get your cash you have to walk by all the machines to get out
shout out to the ATM for being the only machine that reliably pays out in a casino
And off course that charge you extra money
Always cold so that you never get sleepy or feel tired.
They pump oxygen in to illuminate fatigue.
It’s not AC.
The one I worked at was fucking boiling 24/7
You never eat 😂
Definitely not true
They have huuuuuuge oxygen tanks outside the casino hooked up. Fresh oxygen keeps you awake. That’s why!!!
If you put $100 in over time, you’re not gonna win 85 as he said, you’re going to lose 15!
Good point
Exactly lol
@MJnVeggiesI think it means 85% of the plays have to be a winner. Meaning you could bet 20$ on one spin and win 5¢ for that spin. So no you’re not winning long term they’d be bankrupt it they had a 85% chance of profitability
My secret is don’t go.
Lol
Unless you're visiting Monaco. All men should pay what they owe.
It’s fun to go. It’s definitely worth going to the casino buffets. You can get hundreds of dollars worth of crab steak and other meats and they usually give out vouchers for free meals so most of the time you’re not even paying for really good food!
And if you budget your betting it’s same as going to an arcade or any other event.
The problem is for people who expect to go to a casino and win tons of money. Gambling addicts.
People who are simply going for good food free drinks and a good time it’s without a doubt worth jt
They let you smoke so you don’t go outside and realize you should probably go home
I kinda notice there’s a lot of people smoking cigarettes but it’s not as bad of a smell compared when in a bar with the same number of people
You smell smoke just pass by then boom, back to normal
@@asvpXl3ssy yeah it usually stays isolated within like a group of slots or tables ,
@@Moelester692 I’m like how doesn’t it smell bad as it should be considering a lot of chainsmokers in this one big room and considering it’s air-conditioned, A/C can amplify smell
@@asvpXl3ssy they probably just have good ventilation, the older casinos reek
Depends what city or state your in. I can smoke in my local casino but if I go 2 hours north to the metropolitan casinos I'm not allowed to smoke indoors.
All the noises from the slots are in g-minor. It is the most pleasing to us and helps trigger the release of dopeamine
That makes sense! I love the sounds of the machines
Lmao
Sounds crazy but i too love the sound of alots 😂😂 😐😐🤔 🤔🧐🧐😱😱💀
My secret is to only go the casino if you want to have fun and not to win money. It also means gambling with a very strict budget with specific amount of time you want to be at the casino for. So bring the amount you are willing to lose and if you lose that amount or the time you wanted to spend at the casino comes up - you leave with no strings attached.
You should plan to loose so you will not be disappointed. Most important do other things for entertainment.
Best comment so far
This is how addition starts... it starts with u having a false sense of control and bit by bit u loosen that control and eventually u fall for it
Yea I know people who spent their salary by slipping down this slope of ‘only using a certain amount’ then turns to almost 100k a year spent to a casino
You think humans can control themselves like that?
The number one secret is that the casino is always gonna win no matter what
Winning a jackpot is a blessing and a curse. It's almost like a drug
Yep.
That’s life you risking and losing everyday in the way I think it about just gotta be responsible and have fun with it.
Only for addicts. My last trip to Atlantic City for a bachelor party I won an $8,000 royal flush on video poker after 5 hands, didn't play anything for the rest of the trip.
smart move@@2011blueman
They are also very hard to navigate the first time you in one. You literally aren't able to leave. I asked a staff once to walk me to a certain room that was located in the middle of the hotel/casino and she walked me through 2 casino floors and a food court.
I went with my parents for the first time when I was 22 and I was astonished seeing all the rooms upon rooms of slots. Like a fricken maze😂
😂 I got lost I felt like I was travelling back in time seeing the same person in on chair
Tall slots so you can't see anything the highest paid employee in Vegas is the fire marshal
That hard right turn thing is a new one. The best way to win at a casino is DON'T GO!!!
Their layouts and reasoning for putting things in the places they are is DIABOLICAL at heart. Same way a grocery store puts the milk and bread pretty much as far away from the front doors as possible (this tactic isn't as common anymore)
I read somewhere the real reason milk was in the back was actually bc they’re loaded into refrigerators and it’s easier to unload the trucks straight into the containers which is why a lot are in the back / loading docks. Perhaps there’s fewer people drinking milk these days so it’s not much of a concern? Probably same thing goes for bread. Both high turnover items
Casinos also pump a lot of oxygen in their AC so you can have more energy
Sorry, but this is not true. Your body should be at 95-99% blood oxygen concentration at all times, no matter the atmospheric oxygen concentration. It's medical science.
Boomers: You kids are always on your phones and videos games
Also boomers: * gamble all night *
So much hidden psychology used in casinos. That's why so many can get addicted. That little burst 🔥 that keeps you coming back.
The payout slots are higher near the tables, cash counters, and buffet lines. This will cause more attraction eyes when the lights flashing and ringing noises during wins. Basically, where there is higher traffic areas. Slots in the back corner are normally duds.
It’s a dumb rumor
It’s not true xD
I've heard and been told by many different people who work at casinos and slot techs that is not true.
Its opposite. Tightest slots near captive audience where you have to wait...buffy lines...restrooms
NO way. Your thinking is exactly what they want. High traffic areas probably have the worst slots in the whole gaming floor. Dive deep into the trenches to find the good ones usually.
@@JasonEmerson711the trenches 😂
I knew all except the right turns. That one is very interesting!
Depending on casinos, lighting is either bright to mimic day time still, while others are relaxing and set a comfortable tone.
Refreshments are brought to keep you sitting and playing and it limits the need for food intake.
Slots are grouped right next to each other to maximize space, but also limit your distance to another game. (Watch as people usually slide over on seats)
I feel like the flowy design also keeps you there and away from the exit
id be looking at those carpets trippin and admiring how nice they look tbh
My secret to doubling up is to fold your money in half and put in your pocket.
Casino secrets. The house always wins
99% quit before hitting big
The air has more oxygen so you stay awake longer
Did you measure the oxygen levels?
😂 people will believe anything.
The carpets are like that to hide stains!!!! Think about what you said! Why aren't the ceilings & walls ugly?
Casino: no clocks, no windows will keep them inside.
Me took out my phone
The house always win, it may not be today or tomorrow but the longer you stay or come back you will LOSE. Source: 10+ years in the gaming industry. and yes the things you mentioned in the video are all requirements for any casinos. Cardrooms are included also but sometimes they cant check off all the boxes you mentioned.
If you go to the main casinos, and get low penny games that actually have a high overall bet, you better be willing to accept losing. The odds on the strip for those machines are horrendous.
Idk if anyone knows this but the coin/dollar machine once you win big, take out your money out the machine & then put new money in the machine will automatically reset thinking it’s a new person so they can win. Example I put 100$ & won $ 527.82 then cash out & put my other 100$ in & won again in a few spins
That is not how they work. Every spin is random and determined the second you hit the button
@@carolyns9055 well it works for me I win big every time
@@carolyns9055 whatever works for you keep doing it & I’ll do what I do
@@carolyns9055correct
Simple for every dollar I lose represents a year not to return, happy to report I am scheduled to return in 2524 , can’t wait to go again 😊
When Bellagio was being built, I worked for an engineering company. The day they started laying carpet, I was thinking wtf?!
Not sure if this is what you ment but when a casino pays out 85% that does not mean you win 85% of 100 spins it works by it will hit 85% ofthe time. So if your betting $1 and a hit for 35c that is part of that 85% even tho you didn’t win your money back it was still considered a winning spin
Former dealer here:
-Some casinos have the night or day sky on the ceiling.. it’s an Asian fung shui thing (meaning money to flow out of your pockets and into the air)
-Apparently they pump more oxygen in, but I can’t prove it. (Makes u stay awake)
-Free booze to take away your hesitancy
-The loud carpet also help u to focus more on the carefully lit tables
-Slot machine buckets are intentionally loud to entice excitement and are strategically placed
-most dealers are unattractive purposefully so that u focus on the table (abit controversial)
well if nothing else, free booze sounds pretty good
When playing at one machine, you will never win money if you don't hit a bonus.
Lmao he talks about losing track of time with a watch on his wrist. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I love all the rugs in casinos... I can't wait until casinos get new rugs I'm always taking pictures
Don’t withdrawal money from any ATM within blocks of a casino because it will negate you or seriously effect you from getting a mortgage approval!
Banks rarely lend money to proven gamblers!
What?? 😳 Is this true?
@@Sara.Rose. I got a loan.
not true
😂😂😂 are you drunk
They also use subliminal messaging telling you to keep playing...
What do I do lord?
Gaming
What?
Gambling it means keep gambling
Okey doke then!
They do not.
Myth: do they pump a chemical in the air to keep you gambling?
Smells are also important so Hvac systems are top notch
Worked at a casino for many years and it’s amazing how they really think of everything to keep you seated and playing them “one arm bandits”
“So you lose track of time” every one of us watching on our phones right now😑
One secrete I know is not to waste my time or money going to a casino.
They treat you as a king and you feel exited and happy
Casino is hell......
They pump in fragrance. No clock and always bright lights. Hotel you you stay. Comp for you to stick around to eat and then gamble again.
They need to pump in more because damn I couldn't breathe with all that smoke
Slot payouts are not " over time" The 85% example is define as for every 100 coins passed through 85 are returned. Then 85 coins passed through once returns about 68 etc.
It's like negative compound interest.
No. 85% means over a statistical average (1-10M spins) 85% of player money will be returned.
Nope. 85% over a million plays.
@@georgespalding7640 No
@@NickC473 Yep.
I was going to say. Sometimes you don't get anything with 100.
No matter how much you win (even millions on small bets) you will always give it back plus some over time , you will start betting bigger
My advice is to learn Video Poker! Best game in the Casino!
“hey man you gotta leave like right now”
The carpets are actually design my way to appear cleaner.
Fun thing about me being autistic is every place is disorienting and looking at a screen full of numbers options and colors is so not appealing to me and the loud noises etc so anytime I'm in a casino it makes me uncomfortable to the point of leaving so I don't even worry about spending money lmao
Having lots of ATMs, so you can get more money to lose. Plus they give comps if you lose, so youll come back.
Investing wisely beats blowing savings on the Vegas Strip. Ever considered following the rich and making gambling a side attraction?
Investing isn't like high-stakes gambling. It requires capital, but there are smarter ways to play the market.
The finance industry has evolved. Experts like Danielle Dimartino Booth are transforming it with their insights.
Another thing i noticed is when it comes to lighting casino's like to use alot of reds, greens, yellows and blues, dont forget about the free drinks, and when you first sit down it usually takes awhile for the waitress to come by and ask you what you want.
I know they take forever, but if you're winning, u can't get rid of them
That whole put $100 in and you will over time get $85 back is the biggest lie. Put $100 in and you’ll be out $100 😂
They allow indoor smoking so that you don’t leave your desk
That's why you should play table games! The odds are better!
Restaurant and restroom are way in the back to get lost !
They pump air into the room to keep you awake
When I go to the casino security start talking to each other and following me around. They don't take their eyes off me until I leave. See
Everyone that enters the casino all do something I don't and it has security absolutely dumbfounded
My father advice to me that rings true to this day.. casinos are not afraid of you winning..
They’re only afraid if u don’t come! No matter how much I’ve won, always given it all back..
Just a matter of time , if u keep playing
casino hasnt clock un the walls they didnt like for you to see its late and need to go home
I have that same shirt lol 😂
Those aren't secrets that's been common knowledge for decades
The legal requirement is actually 75%.
DONT GAMBLe... I spent 100. And made it all back I'll never gamble again .
They always make it bright where the exits are.. people tend to veer towards the darker areas (slot machine areas). Slot machines are tall so the gamblers get lost inside the casino. IMO they position the lower limit slots at the entrance and cashier cages so people see others winning, even though it is small, but still a great promotion.
This idea is used everywhere even in your supermarket. That is why the frequently bought items (milk, meat, etc) are placed in the back of the store.
Chairs seat lower, so you don’t want to get up.
@humphreys oi oi savaloy - we've got that carpet patern-esque in our back parlor thank you very much!!!
Another one if the casino is smart, is to keep the free drinks flowing !!!
They keep the real gaming games like poker in the middle whereess people are going to go because they know poker players aren't there for the slots
The carpets in the middle are a runway style and are different, that's how you can figure it out.
There are no windows that open in the hotel rooms because people would get drunk and sad over their losses, and they would jump. Damn things just got dark
No, it's just because the building are high rises, most very large hotels don't have windows that open, not just in Las Vegas.
That's not true at all.
I'm going to jump from this 1/3 story window . Good bye cruel world! *psshht that was not the noise of me hitting the ground it was someone throwing a tiny water bottle at me ....half empty
Many of the hotels are designed to have the exterior facade look like there’s fewer floors than there really is to make the building appear closer than they are. Like ‘windows’ are actually made up of 4 floors
Food courts nearby, “free” drinks, comps when you win big jackpots so you can stay to keep you playing your winnings, players card so they can log your spending habits and reels you back in with coupons and promotions, sends you 2 for 1 buffets coupons. Vegas wasn’t built from winners. How do you think they built these shiny casinos? If you don’t want to donate your money to the house, I’d stay away.
Percy Jackson casino scene
Wrong. If you bet $100 on one bet, on average, you will get back $85. However if you bet that money a few times it will keep going down “over time”, on average
The only “casino secret” I know is how to spot high payout machines in dead rising 2…
Considering my addiction issues, I feel like zombie virtual casinos with zero real world stakes and nonexistent gambling is better than the real deal.
You have a better chance at winning at the entrance of the Casino, so when you walk in, you see people winning and it makes you want to win also. It makes you want to go in.
If your college town has a casino, you might see a million things about the dangers of drinking, promiscuous behavior, lack of sleep, or whatever. But you will never see a school sponsored anti-gambling campaign.
When you get the first two bonus symbols on modern slots the reels slow down because it takes 7.5 sec to get the maximum effect of the dopamine release from the brain. I like where you're heads at. Psychology beats casinos not math
Casinos also don't have any clocks so you don't keep track of time
10 years ago i went to a casino and that place actually had windows. I watched the police raid the shop across the street while playing video keno.
For anyone that’s not a familiar with the pronunciation. It’s Nevada not Nevoda, if your ever here a local may correct you just saying, it happened to me when I first moved here.
Not going to the bathroom after hours even though you have to go sitting on a slot machine
I was told by a floor attendant that the slot machine volume should be @ maximum. Also, the closer you are to the cashier cages, with volume maxed out. You can expect to win MORE THAN LOSING. So I tried it in Laughlin playing WOF and I won 700$. Cowinkie dink or not🤷♀️
The slot machines further rip you off by giving you “wins” that are less than the spin itself
So a $10 bet can often “win” you $2.50, a net loss of $7.50 for that spin
This allows the casino to say they paid out $2.50, even though the $10 bet really was a straight up $7.50 loser
Other spins may be $10 in, $10 out, which is break even , but great for the casino to say they paid out %100 of the money that went in
In other words, the slots are designed to stack small winners to quickly reach the payout thresholds, then they take all of your money shortly after, while claiming they “paid out %85”
The window and clock argument is so dumb because your average Costco doesn’t have clocks or wide windows 🤣
They control the oxygen level with a special "scent" that makes you feel passive.
Lol😂 85 % on the slots is NOT accurate because if have known and see ppls who’s lost thousands and get nothing back
While gambling is strictly a statistical game, the casinos believe in luck. A hot run on BJ or Craps will have them changing out the cards or dice often to "break the luck".
Noise = excitement = more gambling. The interior design choices are meant to amplify noise and concentrate it where they make the most money.
They also use witchcraft I think
I cant speak for all casinos, but for all the ones I've worked at, they dont change cards or try to break your luck. There are days where all tables are hot, but most days when one table is hot the rest of the others are raking in the profits to make up wayyyyy more than what is being paid out. and besides real casino workers know the SLOT! make majority of our $$.
Free caffeine 24/7 to keep you a wake. At Casinos free alcohol. The more you drink the more money you're willing to play and loose
The vents push out more oxygen to keep you awake/alert
😂 not true at all. Pumping out more oxygen would be highly illegal and dangerous if anyone was smoking where it was venting out.
Why do people believe such stupidity
@@dh12. hence the reason why they gave designated smoking rooms. Floors are strictly non smoking
@@Nkanyiso131 they still don't pump oxygen into any rooms
walk past the tables and slots on the way to a restaurants.
Dragon spin we got that game in UK love it 😮
The time stamp is actually on your ticket that you print out from the machine. 😅
To better state winning 85 dollars, that is 100 into machine and for it to be longterm would have to be betting 25 cents a spin. Once 500 been played through you're supposed to have 25 left.
There is absolutely no way you win back 85% of what you put in to the slots. Not even close...more like 15%.
The ceilings in casinos are usually plain and boring so you don't look up and focus on the games.
My casino secret is it Seems like when you want to go on a table run on roulette they make the run happen when you stop betting on that run.
