That basket is very old. I have several they run 30 to 100 dollars in antique store and on line. Great deal and great haul.

Hi Elisabeth when you went past that basket with the wood handle I was hoping you’d grab it, I’m a basket person and that one was so different and nice shade of wicker, but of course maybe it wasn’t your style I just know I would of snatched that one lol! I always look forward to your videos, my friend! I always like the pieces you find, and how you style them. The brass angel candle holder was very unique & pretty.. probably vintage also. Oh wow..i saw that same little blue & white lantern a couple weeks ago in the antique store! I had it in my hand to buy, then didn't. But i will get it if its there when i go back, so sweet! (but it was $12🫤) I collect old oil lamps/lanterns, it would be a beautiful addition! Ohhh goodness the hanging lantern was amazing! I'd so love to find one like that!😮 It would be pretty on a hallway table with a battery candle in it! One thing I really love to collect Is old art, Victorian art, old photographs, landscapes or florals, and ornate frames. Can't ever have too much😉 Last week we were given 3 big boxes full of antique silver pieces!! I filled an entire shelf with some of the bigger pieces and tucked some silverware & serving ware in some creamers.. have a few other pieces in my stash. There's still A ton we're putting in or thrift store! Stunning pieces! Lol.. my family says I'm a lamp hoarder😄 I just love to collect beautiful old lamps.. but they GOT to be old! I love thrifting for clothes! I'd flip the lamp, you do a great job on them. You scored some beautiful pieces and I enjoyed as always😊 The End.(another book, sorry🫢)

Hi. I just found your channel. Please explain why paint and baking soda for your DIYs?
Hello and welcome! If you add baking soda to paint it will give the item you paint texture. I start with 2 parts paint to 1 part baking soda and go from there. The more baking soda, the more texture!
