Thati is interesting. I wasn't aware of that. I've always thought Italians, specially Southern Italians, were the darker complected Europeans that have darker hair color, but with lighter eye colors. When you mention "black" color would it be comparable to Asian "black" hair color or African? To me, that would be "black" hair color as it is darker than dark brown IMHO.
its actually very commen for irish people to have very dark hair and blue eyes, its probably not really black though but very dark brown, one of my best friends is irish and all her family have "black" hair.

What is there real hair color anyway? I've always thought Irish had light colored hair.
