Nicolas Cage stars as... Nick Cage in the action-comedy The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. Creatively unfulfilled and facing financial ruin, the fictionalized version of Cage must accept a $1 million offer to attend the birthday of a dangerous superfan (Pedro Pascal). Things take a wildly unexpected turn when Cage is recruited by a CIA operative (Tiffany Haddish) and forced to live up to his own legend, channeling his most iconic and beloved on-screen characters in order to save himself and his loved ones. With a career built for this very moment, the seminal award-winning actor must take on the role of a lifetime: Nick Cage. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
*The idea of Nic Cage making a bigger comeback as Nic Cage, is the most Nic Cage thing he could do!!*
That's high praise
U sir win the Internet today
Okkkkkk
Only Nic Cage can do it

Who would’ve thought that a movie starring Nicolas Cage revolving around the memes of Nicolas Cage would look so good
This is the moment we've been waiting for.

It looks SOOO good too. My buddy and I have been going through watching his movies.... there's some really terrible ones. But there's also some pretty good flicks.
Looks dumb.
A lot of homies would've thought that *Nic Cage's Greatest Memes* turned into a movie would be irresistible. I have been so pumped for this for the past two years, or whenever they first announced it.
Saw the movie today; my wife and i, with different tastes, both just loved it. No one can play Nic Cage better than Nic Cage.

This movie had me cracking up. Had a level of self awareness and mockery to it while telling you exactly what it was going to do. Still was thoroughly entertained the entire time. Well done sir Nic
Everything everyone has said about Nic Cage is 100%, but I can’t believe more people aren’t talking about how Pedro Pascal is just killing it lately!! Good to see him continue to get more and more awesome leading roles!
Ikr? Pedro is a huge draw for me for this film. He's amazing
Ever since Oberyn, I KNEW he was going to be big. He just has it all. He falls into his roles and makes you love his characters.
Pedro Pascal is the modern King Midas.
@@jamesxiong6420 an ironic comparison, considering his role in WW1984 is essentially that.
@@LostHope84 I actually got to attend a Q&A with him, during the season premiere for GoT the year he was in it. I remember thinking “this guy seems really cool!”.
"I'm 44 years old, why the _fuck_ would I see Croods 2?!" 😂this movie looks awesome
I doubt his character has a family my guess is that's why he hasn't seen it.
OMG - I thought he said Cruise 2. Nick wasn’t in it, but I thought it was joke about how forgettable that movie was. But I guess Croods 2 makes more sense.
@@fascinatedbyeverything I also thought he said Cruise 2 at first! I looked it up and saw that he wasn't in it so I kept listening and realized he said Croods 2, and that made much more sense lol

you are absolutely crazy or you didnt see a movie in your life
What started as “I am here for Nic Cage’s comeback”, ended “I am here only for Daddy”! Pedro Pascal’s fame really just shot up in the last few months. He’s everywhere!
I love how Nic Cage is so self aware that he is a struggling actor who is willing to make a movie about a struggling actor. Definitely a real sigma move. I can see this film being full of meme gold. This is the true National Treasure!
@d R the irony here is you giving him this assessment like this comment matters to begin with
@d R wow you have no life do you?
@d R You need help.
Struggling actors don't make as many films as he makes yearly. Movies that go to theaters worldwide theaters and major streaming services. Nic Cage has never fallen off. The joke is that people see him that way because people don't like every movie he's made. They can't see/understand why he chose some of them in the first place. He's eclectic. Most folks like simple, not complex.
@@TheColossalMan that and he was starring in a lot of direct to video movies to pay off his debts lol but he always gave it his all in every role
Nic Cage is crazy enough to descend into his own meme status like Dante’s Inferno, pass through the center, and come out with something amazing.
LMFAO. THIS COMMENT IS BRILLIANT
No, that was Matt Dillon. Lars von Trier directed.
Probably the ONLY movie from all the movies I have seen, I wanted to watch again....RIGHT AWAY! I walked out the cinema and was literally contemplainting to walk back in again! That entertaining!

I just watched this today and it was so good. A very fun movie with a great story. I was so into it, it was extremely entertaining. Nicolas Cage is so iconic. C'mon, adaptation? Leaving las vegas?

The Family Man was amazing
I love how the movie is already revealing almost the whole plot in a trailer. And it's only winning from this, because plot is not the important part.
Yes!! I’m sure there is some twist that they are keeping out but yeah, despite the fact that they have shown almost the whole plot, it doesn’t make me want to watch it any less.
This is Nicholas Cage’s answer to Birdman. Following in the footsteps of Keaton, Cage has made a self-aware, autobiographical, introspective piece disguised as a crime comedy caper. This is brilliant.
A reflection of his career across the decades it’s ingenious yet bold to make a movie that blurs the lines between reality and fiction.
A deconstruction of his work, this movie also makes subtle jives on the current state of the industry.
This is gonna be fun.
Oh they know nobody is going for the plot. We want to see Nic Cage do crazy nic cage things thus they kept all of that out of the trailer lol
Didn’t realize I needed Nic Cage and Pedro Pascal as best friends (turned enemies) until now

Nic Cage is in a league of his own, personally I don't care if he's not into big blockbusters. He shines like a supernova whenever he does a movie, even small productions like Mandy or The Color From Space. Can't wait to see this one with Pedro Pascal an actor who has a similar vibe.

Nic Cage playing Nic Cage in a Nic Cage movie is such a Nic Cage thing to do 😂😂😂
Just watched in cinema, love it! Strangely, 1:45 the CIA agent’s claim that he watched the Rock, Con Air got cut out in the version I watched.
Indeed it's annoying, they seemingly cut down that scene in the film - it's always annoying that you basically haven't seen a full film unless you've watched all the trailers and later watched all the extras for a particular film.
Spoiler for anyone who hasn't yet seen the film,....
I enjoyed it overall but felt it was a bit rushed, particularly at the end.
The two C.I.A. agents weren't given enough to do and vanished very quickly, the last we saw of the male one was him seemingly beaten to death, while it would have been nice to get even some dying words after the female one defeated their attackers.
I also felt it was a bit of a copout to have Javi not be the "big bad", but merely a victim of his cousins' rage and operation - it would have been better if he indeed was a bad guy, but Nick either had to "man up" and defeat him or talk him into changing his ways.
Also it was annoying and that the film pulled the "Goldmember" trick of ending the story with its' own film adaptation and we did see them sending any help back for Javi and Gabriela.
But overall, I'd rate it 4/5 😀 .
I watched this on Amazon prime and it is brilliant. One of the best movies Nicholas Cage has done. Very entertaining.
Pedro Pascal is very good too. The whole cast is great actually.
The trailer is like a full feature already! It's him making fun of himself for all the over the top things we've always known him for and loved him for and I LOVE it!!! Throw in all the other amazing people in this film and I'm an absolute 'yes' for watching this!
2:16 Mandalorian: Don’t lie to MEEE!!
Cage and Pedro Pascal are absolutely awesome
I'm watching this right now and at 1st I wasn't sure how or what I thought of it but found myself laughing rather hard. These 2 working together should happen more often. I'm loving this movie.
I love how the title is just a description of Nicholas Cage.
Greatest actor of our time.
Perfection. This deserves an Oscar already. Just for the premise. I don't see anybody else doing something like this. But it's not just anybody. It's a national treasure. Seriously no pun intended. It's freaking Nick Cage. The practical effect of Ghost Rider himself! That would have been a good title as well now that I think about it.
Looks good, but not completely original -- as another youtube comment said: "This movie reminds me of Jean-Claude Van Damme's movie JCVD and TV series Jean-Claude Van Johnson where he plays himself as a struggling actor and also works as a spy, funny thing is first episode of Jean-Claude Van Johnson someone mistakes him as nic cage and says i thought u were retired he says he's really retired not nic cage retired."

Nick Cage is the massive candidate to play bojack horseman in his live action. He should do it .
This looks amazing. More so because Pedro Pascal's house he says is in Majorca is actually the Villa Sheherezade in Dubrovnik, Croatia where I had my honeymoon.
also another tie in is Pedro Pascal as Oberyn Martell got his head crushed like a grape under a mile up the coast at the abandoned Hotel Belvedere that was redressed as Kings Landing.
