  • Traditional irish jig played on a tin whistle and a low tin whistle in the winter forest. I really hope you like it, because I'm not very good at playing traditional irish music (well, maybe you'll think otherwise).

      Thank you very much!! A few days ago, it's been a year since I started playing tin whistle. I'm a self-taught whistler. When I started, I tried to teach myself by watching video tutorials, using tabs, and even reading books about playing tin whistle, but soon I just gave it all up because it didn't work. Then I just found some whistlers whose playing style I really like, and I started picking up notes by ear and learning how good whistlers make their magic (ornaments, articulation and everything about beauty of flute music). And now I'm very happy to hear that my channel is helpful for you! This inspire me very much :)

      @@Eafether0042 эмм, а как она звучит в реальности?)) Конкретно в этом трэке я использовала только эквалайзер и ревербератор. Возможно, там ещё было немного компрессии на хай тин вистле, но уже не помню, сейчас я по-другому свожу. Сейчас у меня обычно связки эквалайзер+компрессор (оба от фабфильтра) и ревербератор (вальхалла рум), иногда ещё накидываю сатуратор (фабфильтр сатурн) и модулятор (ozone imager), ну и на мастер шине лимитер от фабфильтра. Микрофон AKG P220, абсолютно не рекомендую его для записи вистлов, особенно лоу, он собирает все призвуки стука пальцев и очень сильно вытягивает гулкие частоты, которые потом очень сложно прибрать в эквалайзере без ущерба общему звучанию.

      Да просто, видно, что тут есть место обработке на звуке. Вот и решил поинтересоваться. В реальности-то вистл зачастую куда более глухой звук выдаёт.

    • @TineSylkie
      @TineSylkie  Před 3 lety +2

      @@TheMtnmamma I own C and D whistles only. I absolutely do not recommend you buy a low C whistle as your first low whistle, because C whistle is a monster) It is very long and requires very good finger stretching. I, with my small hands, couldn't play the lowest note on a low C whistle for two months. And also low C is more sensitive to breathing, the lowest notes will be hard to blow clearly for first few weeks. I think the low D whistle is a perfect choice. Although I absolutely love reach bass timbre of the C whistle, I play it very rarely because my hands, especially right one, feel like after hours of yoga after a few minutes of playing.
