Each year, the Montana State University (MSU) Library's Trout and Salmonid Lecture Series hosts a world-renowned speaker and offers a free lecture event to the MSU and Bozeman communities on the subject of trout and salmonid studies. Jeremy Wade is not just a man who is addicted to fishing, he is very educated when it comes to his knowledge of fish and many other sea creatures. He know what's in our waters. Really enjoyed this lecture. Great Job sir. great job educating us on these important matters.

Power plants in British Columbia has wiped out the Sockeye Salmon in the Fraser River. The same thing has happened with the Squamish River in BC as well. The natives cried out and protested over this expansion of the hydro plants but the politicians and the native chiefs were bought off by the corporations as usual.
I think you are right Jeremy the fish is trying to tell us something but our need for material things is preventing us from listening to that message.

I watched every episodes of River Monsters, as I like his aquatic detective skills - and I really do not like fishing shows but he's top notch!

I don't remember when exactly (I want to say it was back in the 80s), but Jeremy Wade got arrested on the Thailand-Laos border for suspected spying. Of course, this wasn't the case, but he got locked up for the night anyway, and the police confiscated all his camera film.
