ALAMAT is one of the PPOP boy groups I stan because they incorporate several other Filipino languages (aside from Tagalog) in their music. They have a ton of MVs - kBye (their debut song, its an upbeat song. don’t be surprise if they were many of them during their debut since they were 9 members of ALAMAT) - kasmala (a very hard song. one member left the group which makes ALAMAT an 8-member) - porque (a ballad remake) - ABKD (a very fun song) - ILY ILY (features Lyca Gairanod, a soloist. Two members left before ILY ILY which makes ALAMAT a 6-member group) - Aswang (another hard song) - Maharani (my favorite ALAMAT song so far, this is their latest)

Their clothing features Filipino textiles and designs. Their songs always incorporate traditional instruments. OMG YESSSS! I was hoping you would react to them! They have songs with heavy cultural and historical references. I would recommend ILY ILY because it talks about a social issue in the Philipines in depth, and the lyrics reflect the MV. The MV for the song Kasmala is infused with so many historical references based on actual historical records but there is a disconnect between the lyrics and the mv so I would recommend watching ILY ILY first because it is easier to get hints of what the song is about from the lyrics whereas for Kasmala, there is only a connection between the MV and the lyrics if you take the lyrics very VERY symbolically. Both are still amazing songs and MVs in my opinion tho. and I love that both of those MVs include multiple languages from the Philippines and not just Tagalog (the main language of the country).
