Savoy Hotel

We visit the historic Savoy Hotel and interview the head butler. The Savoy was a popular spot for politicians, including Winston Churchill. During WWII, wealthy Londoners whose servants had left town or gone to war could stay there in comfort. The air raid shelters were deep and luxurious.
We also pop into Simpson's On The Strand and talk with one of the supervisors of the restaurant.
