Maame Grace, the universal law that governs all those entities and even Yahweh is "Free will" no God should infringe on anybody's will.
Also that analogy you made about a concern parent and a child doesn't match the comparison here. A child and a mother are in the same realm/dimension (material realm) these gods are from a different realm and so the laws to bridge between two dimensions are what restrict them from imposing free will. Maame Grace, the traditional religion Master Rabbi is talking about is the same as what we called nature and it's acceptance. We has to accept nature and it laws but rather we have rejected or ignored nature, therefore we need to learn and accept and obey nature which God Himself created.
The Concept Language of nature and laws of nature can be wisely found in the Book of Enoch.
The Book of Enoch chapter 10:3 says:
And those men (angels of GOD) said to me(Enoch) : This place, O Enoch, is prepared for those who dishonour God, who on earth practice sin against nature...........
So, I suggest that what Rabbi is saying is good for our learning, because we have rejected or ignored nature and rather we are partially sinning against nature which was created by the LORD our GOD the supreme creator of nature itself. Let us all agree and accept the tradition of the nature of our country - GHANA.
