- I made this fun fabric wreath with scraps that I had and a wire circle that I bought for $1 at the dollar store. Super fun and cute. I made this following instructions from Mimi's Mixed Bag

I love those colors!!
Going to try making this. I bought 2 of the smaller wire wreaths from dt and going to use them. Got 2 for $1.00. Good deal.....now have to find the fabric in my stash. Thanks for sharing.
It was fun! I need to make another one!! Enjoy!

Oh my Gosh it turned out adorable!! Isn't it funny knowing how you had that stuff all along just waiting to be transformed into something fabulous. I admire my fabric wreath every time I go in my back door. 😊❤️

Thank you for inspiring me! I'm not great at coming up with ideas...but I'm a good copy cat. Lol 😻
It came out so nice
Love your tutorial... you explained it very well... thank you...
Thank you! I'm happy that you found it useful. Hugs, Stephanie
LOL, I was just thinking when you said you had to cut the 14 inch squares in half that you could rip them...and then you did! So much fun! xox
Sandra Howard
Hi Sandra, I would rather rip anytime. It's fun. 😜

Thank you so much!! 💜💜💜
you should eventually make a Christmas themed one
That is a great idea!!!
I love how it turned out! Wish you would have showed how you tied the knots. Do you think you can use silk fabric for it?
I just tied simple knots. I actually got this idea from Cindy at Mimi’s Mixed Bag channel. She used a dust ruffle from a thrift store. Go check out her channel to see her wreath. Hope that helps!
Hugs, Stephanie 😍
Very very cute! I love it, I’m going to the store today to get some fabric and I am going to make this! Thanks for sharing this
Nancy Haldeman Yay! Fun! I would love to see a photo of yours!❤️❤️❤️
Pretty wreath! Was this cotton like quilting fabric or what kind of fabric please? TY for sharing with us.
Amu Ashkar
It was definitely a “mystery” fabric, but I would say yes, cotton. I got this idea from Cindy at Mimi’s Mixed Bag channel. Her wreath was made from a dust ruffle that she found at a thrift store. Go take a look! Thanks for watching. Hope that helps.
Hugs, Stephanie ❤️
@@FarrellFocus Thank you for the explanation....have a great weekend ahead!
i cant tell how you tied them
Hi Sheri, just over and under one time, not even a knot. But really, you can do anything and it will look good. If you look in my description for mimis mixed bag, she is way better at explaining the ties. 🥰
How much fabric do you need to start with? I don’t have a stash and need to know how much to buy. How are the pieces tied on? Diagonally folded strips? Another way? I’m sorry for not catching these bits, but this neophyte crafter is a direction follower, not a very creative type.☺️Thanks!
Chris E
If I could make this, anyone can...lol! I wish I could tell you the exact measurements, but I don’t remember. It wasn’t a lot. I got this from Mimi’s Mixed Bag, her channel has so many great ideas. She made her wreath out of a dust ruffle that she found at the thrift store. I hope that helps.
I just went to Mimi’s channel and subscribed. Saw a rag-covered wreath right off the bat - thanks! Hubby will roll his eyes when I head out to the dollar store again😂😂😂
Chris E
Lol! True! They may roll their eyes, but on the inside they love it! You will love Cindys channel (aka Mimi) ❤️
Stephanie Farrell Focus Indeed. When the kids were still at home, I would bring home BAGS of sale yarn to choruses of, “Oh no, not more yarn!” But they sure came running fast when one of them would spring a leak in their favorite slippers 😆. I even bartered lapghans for dental work once!! Everyone needs a creative outlet.
Definitely didn't like this video because she didn't show how big the pieces should be she didn't show exactly how they should all be the same directions going this confused the heck out of me. I guess what got me was that I don't know if I'm supposed to tie them on each space or it looks like she has it on a double spaced it makes no sense to me. Why would she have it already made? I like it to be start from scratch from exactly what we need and then show us how to put it on the way she did instead of having it already pre-made on top it looked so confusing. Obviously people who come on here know what they're doing some of us have never done this in our lives so we need basically step-by-step from the very beginning not holding up something with it already tied on there and then going fast and showing it cuz now I have to go find another video
So sorry Wendy. Do you look at the original video that I shared, Mimi’s mixed bag? Maybe her explanation would be better. Good luck!
