what ive learned from this video, to make a good design you need: a color rule, line consistency, logo consistency and not making the design too complex

I had even imagined the hood, but in my head I omitted it because I didn’t want it to be copying Gwen’s suit or something So awesome to see someone do such a similar design to what I had in my head!! Now I’m just sad that I gotta get a new idea, lol

the "super hero color costume rule" is literally just the 60/30/10 rule of any design whether it's web design or in this case costume design, it's nothing new but nice catch man, glad u noticed it ;)
You're insights on these suits and their issues are always very spot on. I also feel like people like to fuck with the straps and lines too much. For instance, the suit design that basically ripped off of yours...what's with the straps around the shoulders on the back portion? It looks like Spidey is wearing an off the shoulder blouse. Arguably, even on the classic suit, the bit that is the strangest and seems to serve no purpose is the blue on the arms and how it rides under the arms but doesn't form a full sleeve. Trump that up with people redesigning the classic suit and trying to be cool and different by going nuts with that part of the costume, and you end up with some really odd stylistic choices that look pretty weird and off-putting. I've seen some redesigns where the straps make Spider-Man look like he's wearing suspenders, and it's just strange. I'm a big fan of having a reason to change the way the blue portion of Spidey's suit. If you're going to give Spidey an off the shoulder woman's blouse, then you sure as hell better have a good reason for doing that. 😂

I don’t know why everyone gets mixed up with these and I don’t think it should’ve been a trend I never stopped caring about my spidersona and I’ve created a whole universe with it!
@@wiggardThe difference is that a spidersona is a suit that is a complete redesign based on your personality with only the crucial features remaining while an optimized spider suit is the same as a canon suit but better in a way that doesn’t fit your personality. I suppose if you have the exact same personality and likes as a canon spider-person then it could be the same but usually it is not.

The TASM 2 suit is friendly because he's not angry anymore, he's the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Superior Spider-Man's suit is black and red, it's menacing. That's because it's not Peter Parker, its Doc Ock, someone who isn't afraid of killing people or leaving them really hurt, as well as being way scarier than normal Spidey. A spidersona's suit reflects its personality as much as a common Spider-Man suit does.

@Demetrious Demarcus the third Junior It's really hard- to keep the connection balanced, you have to build a whole new level of trust since you're so far away But if it works out you'll be inseparable- you'll be sad and miss her a lot but whenever you can see eachother it'll make it all worth it in the end
