- Yesterday I downloaded the Montecarlo rally dlc and this was just my 4th attempt: I never raced on this Stage before, so, please, be mercieful XD

honestly , IRL or In game , rally is the most hardcore style and racing discipline in my opinion , these people who go at 180 on really small road are freaking crazy
Circuits are created in order to create an optimal environment for speed, but rally and hillclimb will allways be, for me, the purest forms of motorsport.
GojiraHead666 trophy trucking is much more nerve racking IMO because you race for hours without stopping. They go over bumps and jumps constantly at 100mph, which is pretty harsh. Also stadium trucks and buggies are really fun, so I wish they make a surprise dlc

MosaicGaming rally is controlled, if you weren’t aware of it. This is not the 80’s where the cars raced over the feet of the crowd. It’s the 2020’s and rally is getting somewhat boring
Japan touge racers are extreme too,you dont know how much of them died because they dont braked enough before the corner and hit a guard rail or fell of the cliff

I love the new ice physics in this game so much. It was such a big improvement over the first game.
Now it actually feels really good to drive on, almost real. And you can't just go 160 to a hairpin and make it through unscratched.
Viperconcept, on ice try to use 4th gear in the begining of the ice/road part, and when the road gets completely covered on ice brake with the hand brake and play with the accelerator in 3rd gear.
Thats the trick i always use, by the way good video and time, keep it up!
to me, the key in rally is learn how to use the hand brake.

One of my first experiences with DiRT Rally (my PC don't run the 2.0) was in an icy Monte stage at night with a MG Metro 6R4 (I'm a little bit crazy) and I think I didn't last 2 km in the stage, ended up going through a ditch at 160 k and got terminal damage.

A parte la review già vista ovviamente in passato, cosa pensi attualmente di Dirt Rally 2.0 dopo le patch correttive?
Ma soprattutto mi daresti dei buoni settings per il ffb, visto che faccio fatica a trovare le giuste sensazioni?!
Mah... a parte alcuni effetti particellari migliorati delle condizioni meteo e dei lievi miglioramenti al FFB non credo che il gioco sia cambiato più di tanto con queste patch.
Per quanto riguarda i settaggi del FFB, mi dispiace deluderti ma le ho provate tutte... e alla fine sono ritornato al setup di default.

Normally when I play a rally game such as this, by turn four, ive rolled the car twice, and smashed through a crowd of pedestrians.
Whenever I feel like my car doesnt want to turn I just tap the handbrake slightly to get around a hairpin. Downshifting it to 2 gear and let it rip. It's rather satisfying to do it on ice. XD
In snow I change my rear diff settings more to open and the RWD cars become much more stable.

I wonder the same thing while you drive. It kinda dangerous for the driver parking on the side. I like the fact they tried to include the foot stepping on the pedal but it seems unreal. I mean every car in Dirt2 seems to be having almost 90 degree sitting angle which allow the feet to visible.
