@@cody3335 I doubt it. This guy is about 3 inches shorter; but he's not a small man. Further, Paddy's ground skills, while good, is highly unlikely to overwhelm Ilia. Paddy's ground skills are somewhat reminiscence of Ryan Hall's... and this guy walked into the Hall fight totally confident of his superior BJJ; so much so, he never modified his stance, which was what KO Hall as viciously as it did.
Anyway, standing, Topuria has a much more disciplined, more elite approach to Paddy's swing-as-hard-as-you-can approach.

Ilia Topuria one of the RARE guys I've watched debut and IMMEDIATELY went and followed him. Got the look, got the skills, got the edge. Thinks he's a male model and not a fighter on insta LOL but all in all, a cool ass dude.

I'm trying to learn French these days as a uni requirement and when somebody asked me how many languages i am actually proficient in,i was surprised to realise that I know 3 languages already,never really put much thought into this but apparently I'm a trilingual lol.

Honestly I hope Paddy gets knocked out on Saturday, then gets the fight with Ilia. Ilia will mop the floor with him. From what I've seen from both fighters, Ilia is much better in the standup and ground game. What he did to Ryan Hall was extremely impressive actually, Hall doesn't look like much, but he's a dark horse and will tap out anyone in seconds if he can get a hold of them on the ground. I don't think people realize how dangerous he is on the ground. Look at what he did to BJ Penn. I know BJ is past his prime, but he's still an elite blackbelt and Hall tapped him out in seconds when he got a hold of him.
Anyway, Ilia Vs Paddy would be a great fight, will be fun to watch Paddy get his face smashed in.
I hope Ilia gets a few good wins together, this incident has made a lot of people (like me) realise how good he is.
