To clarify to a degree if contract negotiations break down to the point where both sides aren't willing to budge and we know we are losing him anyways, at least get some value if he's leaving

He will be leaving, Steelers aren't going to pay him want he wants. Steelers didn't resign Troy or Deebo when they figured they were done. Same thing will happen with Cam.

While I don't think Cam is done, I do think he is holding a short rope. I give him maybe two more good years. Injury could stop that in its tracks. Once the body starts to break down, it's all downhill. Cam is still running down plays 30 yards down field. I'd hate to see Cam playing for any team other than Steelers
I was thinking the same thing. Rod Woodson, Gregg Loyd, & like you said Troy and Deebo. Love steeler loyalty. We cut Deebo going into the playoffs. Knowing under coach. We go 1 & done. For how he played for the Steelers. The part he played in Super Bowl win. Steelers couldn’t give respect. Keep him that one game.
Sign Heyward & when someone comes along outplays him. Then that cuts some play time. Maybe then he asks for trade or he retires. A little respect is what he deserves.

Nonsense. If you trade Cam, then you need a Cam replacement. Good luck replacing that man as a player and teammate. Better than most on the D line when he was injured, pro bowler+ while healthy, man of the year, team captain, an exemplar of the team culture. Get outta here with that talk.
