This is an experiment to see what my "Derby streets by car" videos would be like if I did them in HD format.
And YES I think I will be using this format from now on.
This video is not realtime, its speed up between 2 and 4 times normal speed. I sped it up in Sony Vegas by holding the control key down while moving the right side of the clip end marker to the left.
The journey starts in Costco car park near the Wyvern and goes through Pride Park then towards town and ends at Bridge Street. You can see the new Jurys Inn Hotel on King Street and all the work being done around the Seven Stars pub. Also you can see the Riverlights developement and Bus Station area.

This video was filmed with a Toshiba Camileo Pro HD camcorder which is dirt cheap and hence is lacking in features, as you can see the auto-focus tends to hunt back and forth even in good illumination. Not very wide anglwe view.
It does not even have a lens cap but it does record in 1280x720 mp4 format.

I used to live in Derby and occasionally pop back when I can. This brings back lots of memories seeing all of the old streets plus all of the new developments and changes over the recent years. Great video - keep up the excellent work.
