Join me on this journey to Varna, the most extraordinary city in Bulgaria.
Let's stroll through the magnificent Sea Garden on Varna and delve into the City's communist past.
Down by the sea, we see how the locals enjoy the beach bars in the cold and create a summer vibe in the autumn.
This city is so amazing, we meet the locals as well as an extraordinary skateboarding dog. Only in Varna!!!
With several universities in this city, the streets are always vibrant with an abundance of elegant women, truly a sight for sore eyes.
If you enjoy adventure videos from the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, then grab your vodka, some zakuskas and join me as we explore the Truly extraordinary city of Varna in Bulgaria.

Hey Justin. I'm visiting my home town whilst living in London through your videos. Thank you for making them. The monument in the Sea Garden is called "The Pantheon". It's not a monument of the Bulgarian-Russian friendship, rather It is an anti-nazi monument. It is dedicated to the fighters who died in between 1923 and 1944, as part of the resistance movement. The strange chimney sweeper you met in the centre comes from an old traditional superstitious belief - if you touch one of them, it somehow destines you to have good luck.

      Hi Kiril,
FIrst of all thank you so much for the comment, when the local people of the places I visit enjoy my content, then I fell like I produced a good Video.
Also getting clarity on why that guy came up to me is superb... I was still wondering what that was all about!
Thank you so much for watching, and your input.

I always pet the cat on 12:47 when I go around Averi beers. I see you've encountered her as well hahah The chimney-sweeper touches you for luck and u ought to give him some money according to the superstition, so basically that is what it was all about the thing you got confused :) I am so happy you've captured such a nice vibe of my city. Cheers

2:45 Аn interesting fact is that the Scots have the bagpipes from the Bulgarians. during the Roman Empire, many Thracians served as mercenaries in the legions. Of course they bring the traditional instrument with them and play it and have fun. Many of them like Scotland, marry and stay there after their service. This is a small part of the forbidden history of the Bulgarians.

Hi Justin, the fruit you had is a Japanese Persimmon - it's not meant to be eaten while firm like that. You have to leave it and have it rippen over time until it becomes soft.

EU law prohibits smoking in bars and restaurants, but I think Bulgaria didn't get that memo😜
