  • It is a fact. At least once in your life, your sink will clog. Be it the bathroom sink or the kitchen sink, it happens.
    When it happens in the kitchen, it's usually because of food, oil, and other residues that end up in the sink.
    In the bathroom, the sink clogs mostly because of hair and other products that get stuck in the drain.
    Most people opt for chemical solutions, but since we prefer natural things, we will show you 5 homemade solutions to safely unclog your sink:
    1. Baking soda
    2. Dish detergent
    3. Coca-Cola
    4. Salt
    5. Clean the siphon
    Easy, isn't it?
    But, better than knowing how to unclog your sinks and drains, is preventing it from happening. See some tips to prevent it:
    Avoid combing your hair during your bath or over the bathroom sink;
    Remove all grease from cooking utensils with a napkin before washing them;
    Never pour oil directly on the sink;
    If you have pets, remove all their hair from clothes before washing them;
    Last, but not least, always check beforehand if the draining is alright.
    If you catch a problem right in the beginning, it will be easier to solve.

    Baking soda is a chemical solution, so is vinegar, detergent or the acid added to Coke. There is no difference between these "natural" solutions and what you call "chemicals".

    The use of Coke is probably advantageous, as both Coke and Pepsi colas were originally designed to aid a person's upset stomach when they have indulged way to much in eating habits. They both have ended up in the soft drink market, however they still can be used in aiding the stomach when eating to much food.

    Hi it's Andria liked ur video but sometimes it doesn't work so I use small bucket of water mixed with two tbsps of liquid bleach every 2 days alternatively I hope it won't be too much trouble to add just 2 tbsps of liquid bleach and pour it slowly into the drain during the night before going to bed so it does take away clogs in a week and doesn't stink and no cockroaches or their eggs inside the pipelines I tried this long time ago it really works after that may be we can follow it with hot water and salt to maintain the drain clean and clear Hope you like it plz reply

    For homeowners who have cast iron sewers ( commonly used for U.S. homes until the advent of plastic ), hot salt water will rust and thin their pipes, aggravating ongoing deterioration from ground water. If your house was constructed, say in the 1960s, this may be the last thing you need.

I use detergent powder plus boiling hot water after and during my bath to clean. No problem! Also, use this combo inside your bathroom washbasin sink because toothpaste junk also creates clogging issues. 1 mug is enough 🙏 daily every single day

    Most of them are a bandage in the big problem. for instance: 1. Baking soda and vinegar not really good but toxic for us. Maybe all the toxic fumes from the pipes come out and causes us toxicity, Also the continues unclogging with it, forms a barrier under nit. which latter on is needed to be taken out with other tools. Just remember that when the drain is continually clogged it may be the old metal pipes braking out that with the acids are needed to be changed faster. Consider that pipes are 50 or 60 years in place. The remedy is an expensive changing of pipes; or better, take plumbing hugging the house but first see if adjusters and insurance can help you in the project.

    All well so far but it assumes that the blockages are just below the plug hole. If the blockage is say 1m away in the pipe that means 1m of water stuck and no matter how much of anything you put down the drain it won't get to the blockage. The water will need removing before anything can get to it and if I was being picky bi carbonate of soda and white vinegar are still chemicals just given kitchen names
