How is the call quality on this phone? I'm considering it as the Moto G play 2024 I have is horrible on calls. If it's good on calls I love everything else on it and would likely get it.
It's junk because the display is not that good. Only if it had a better display than the phone would be totally awesome that's the most important thing to me is how clear the display is battery life. I at least want a minimum of 4K. If that's asking too much then I don't know what to say
Motorola's budget and midrange phone designs are top notch. Much better than comparable phones from other OEMs. The hardware typically runs smoothly and the displays are sharp. Just wish their software support was more consistent. It's frustrating .
@@jedolivier2688 The amount of OS updates offered could be better. But, it takes Motorola so long to release one the device would likely be at the end of life before they all rolled out. Even support for flagship phones is sketchy.
I bought one a few weeks ago at Spectrum for $249. So far so good! I like the specs and it is definitely an upgrade from my TCL stylus 5G. I am disappointed that it will only get one system upgrade and that there was no charger included. Other than that, no complaints. Great review! Since I have fat fingers, I like the stylus. I also like the stereo speakers that give the phone a more immersive sound.
i too have spectrum and considering this phone, i have an old Iphone SE 2020 so its showing its age, spectrum wants $20 + for the newer iphones for 3 years, its crazy and the new SE 4 wont be out for a year, at $250 i might try android for a year, the spectrum guy said the moto Edge 2024 is coming too and moto might have some deals on spectrum in the coming weeks, ill see
@@wgwrigel1 The stylus was one of the compelling features of this phone. I have fat fingers, so a stylus is handy--and necessary--for navigating on a phone keyboard. The stereo speakers are a nice feature as well, giving the phone an immersive sound.

Why is it tech reviewers never know what to do with a stylus? Is it really there just for navigation? You dont think people might want to know about the tracking or latency? Can this feature be used for sketching or is it limited to crude note taking? Will your notes be clear or look like a toddler wrote them? What about handwriting recognition? This is the main feature of the phone, these things are important!! I hope you will keep this in mind for reviews of future stylus devices.
This looks like an amazing phone for the price. You get so much value for less. If the call quality is good I'm considering this phone. Because Straight Talk has it for $199 and Visible has it for $260. At that price it's a deal worth getting.
Thanks for keeping it simple! I've had to use the mediocre Galaxy S21+ for a while and now it's starting to break and I miss having basic necessities like the micro SD. I'm prob gonna get this.
I've had mine for a month. Love it tbh. Moto features are nice. Tomahawk that guy for the flashlight and shake it for the camera. Super fast and easy. I use the stylus to write down machine numbers at work. It has replaced my pen and notepad. Overall I like it. SD card and 3.5mm. I use those still. It feels quality. Overall it nice and if Motorola would get away from the curved screen on their flagship then I've give it a go bc of Moto features alone. Works great for me as a maintenance tech. I'm glad I chose this over an A series Samsung... Coming from an A71 5g which was great until they killed it with updates.
This has the same battery, so I don't think you would've seen much of a difference. I'm sure you already know this, but if you just got the phone, it takes quite a while for everything to index and also for it to learn your habits so it can adjust the power accordingly through your day to day. You really can't accurately judge a phone's battery life until at least a week or so.

I have had a DeWalt 5amp 100w wall charger for a while. I bought this phone because I had to change my Galaxy A32 twice a day. I think it might be the wall charger? But, that is interesting the phone learns my habits. . Update: my power bank turned off when I plugged it into my DeWalt wall charger. It will charge off a 30w 0.9 amp. . In fact, could you do a video about the correct charge for each phone. The T-Mobile guy said my Galaxy has a recommended Wall charger.

I had the iPhone 14 and it got messed up so I switch to this phone and it's a very good android ❤. Now I have the iPhone 15 plus but still finding it hard to let go of this phone now hehe...so I'll keep it as a back up. The camera is good and it's fast
I can’t decide between this or the Revvl 7 Pro. I don't see myself using the Stylus but the specs are about the same. Both have stereo speakers and headphones jack. Camera for Revvl has bad reviews.

The MAJOR issue with Motorola is updates and bloatware. They only support a phone for a VERY short life which can leave you vulnerable to attacks very quickly. Their interface LACKS quite a bit and misses ALOT of features available on other phones in this range. IMO if it was me I would much rather go with a Samsung A35 which offers everything here PLUS AI features, UI customization up the wazoo, and dedicated updates/support for FOUR years. The stylus does NOT really give this phone much to offer either and can really get along without it. The cameras offered here in a true breakdown are NOT that good and are NOT good in low light. If Photos/videos are your thing then look into a Pixel 8A or again the Samsung A35 as both will BLOW this phone away in speed, quality, and YEARS of updates that Motorola just LACKS and always has. I would spend just a little extra to gain the speed, quality, and UPDATES!
I've been using a galaxy fold 3/lg v60/ ulephone armor 24 for the past couple years while waiting for the s23 ultra in lime green to drop in price on the used market but it's still not as low as I would have liked and the galaxy fold 6 still didn't make the outside screen bigger so I took a chance on this phone and am loving it so far. I would have liked that red color but straight talk didn't have it so I settled for caramel latte

It's worth it this Motorola phone does not meet my expectations the display is blurry. That's the only downside that display sucks. If it had a better display I would buy this device

Have you actually purchased and used one of these? Please tell us how a Full HD OLED display is "blurry". The panel on this device is crystal clear. One of the best I've ever seen on any any mid-ranger.
