Hello! I miss my island Okinawa…🏖 I’m so happy to find your channel 🥰❤️ Currently I’m living in Korea but we are going to visit my family in Oki within 2 weeks! Watching your video made me so excited to go back🙏💕Thank you,Ashley.
I’m moving to Okinawa in the near future and I’m a little nervous about the wildlife there. Have you seen any wildlife inside your home? If so which ones?
I live here currently, and honestly I’d say the only thing that’s really scary outside is the bugs! Lol. As well as “Habu Snakes” but I haven’t seen one yet.
hi! I’m Okinawan indigenous but unfortunately I wasn’t born in Okinawa but my parents. Do you know how can I live there? It’s my wish to come back to motherland, how can I apply for a job or something like that?
Hello! How was the transition moving to Okinawa from the US? I’m moving there in 2024 with my husband (military) and I’m quite nervous and excited. It looks pretty over there.
What is it like as a foreigner living in Japan? The Japanese aren’t very foreign friendly as you can’t just be born there to be considered a “Japanese” citizen
We absolutely adore living here? If we would retire here we would! As far as the people they are really friendly, I don’t understand most of what they say but you can tell when they try to talk to you that they are being sweet and kind of that makes any sense, we also have Japanese friends who are so kind and amazing people! So overall everything here is beautiful from the island to its people ❤️
@@bk10200 No, if you go to japan and live there for a few years, you're still not considered "Japanese". If you're born in Japan and you're not ethnically Japanese, you're also still not Japanese. -Source White Best Friend born in Japan but not considered Japanese
Hi! Just get out there! Japanese people are some of the friendliest people I’ve met ❤️ and there are a lot of people who speak English, or you could learn a little Japanese ❤️
It's probably not pumace stone, okinawa is an island created by coral and receiding water over millions of years. Most of the sand and 'pumice stone' is old coral, a lot of it fossilized.
few more days to go, Okinawa here we come!

Can’t be worst than Australia x)
Only the habu snakes. Try not to tread in areas where the grasses are high and where there are a lot of ohakas.

Our transition was perfect! We adjusted to the time difference in about a week, there is so much to love about Okinawa
Great content Ashely! I'm living here as well. We own a tiny camping car rental company. Would be awesome to see you make a video with it one day

Where is the beach located? Where you have seen the scuba divers?
Hi! It is located at Capful Cafe just down down the stairs when you’re at the cafe and you’ll see the beach down there
@@Ashleypalomo Thank you! Is that the one where you said it is always empty and you could scream lol
All that free pumice is there to gather and make into a soap. 🙂
Are you still there
Yep 🙂❤️
I love you and I miss you 😘
I guess if you didn’t grow up near the beach .. it would be an experience..
It’s a whole experience when you live in paradise ❤️ completely different from back on the states at least the beaches I have been back home.
