    I like your videos. But for future reference, sending metal shavings down the exhaust manifold, towards the valves may not be the best way to file. An oily rag in that manifold to catch the shavings would have been a better practice. Keep up the good work!

      That certainly would have been a better way to do it. Thanks for the support!

    I have used a few cheap turbos. I automatically just port the wastegate soon as they come out of the box. I used 1 that didn't get modifed and it was impossible to control the boost.
    I like to add a slight chamfer to the port with a sanding drum. Not sure it does anything but it makes me feel good 😂

      We’ll find out soon enough! With the cheap actuators I have it may or may not do the trick, I’m waiting on axles and then I can finally get the car together and try it🤘🏻

    See I’m also running an eBay turbo and mine just started boost creeping recently. Wouldn’t it do it out if the box and not after 3k miles with it? 🤨

    • @CashedOutCars
      @CashedOutCars Před 2 lety

      That does sound like an odd problem, my guesses are the wastegate flap may have word weird and be getting stuck or something wear related. Best of luck!
