Storm surge & high Spring tide, Ventnor, Isle of Wight.... 8-9 April 2024

Not especially windy, but the combination of a very high Spring tide and brisk onshore breeze certainly pushed the waves high up Ventnor beach...

Good spectacle watching the waves breaking over the railings and it obviously got a lot worse during the course of the night by seeing all the shingle dumped by the waves on the road.
