I think you did a good job with these dolls. I have watched 2 other "influencers" (I don't like the term either), and they didn't do such a good job. I mean they explained it, but just kept throwing something on the dolls like they didn't care for it...the process. One even said it was not like dressing a real doll. You made it seem more fun.
Well I mean it was PR from a company she wants more from😅 but that being said I agree she does have a lot of fun with her dolls! 🩵💜🩷

its a very interesting concept, a modern day paper doll. I actually quite like the 2D body mixed with the standard doll head. The outfits are also so cute!! Really beautifully drawn.

I love this idea because I used to love paper dolls, but maybe magnetic clothes pieces would be more durable? And you can buy clothes packs? Idk the stiker part makes me think it won't last a long time.

That's what I was thinking too. I loved the little plastic magnetic clothes for my Diva Stars Summer when I was a kid -- the first generation Diva Stars, with the big chunkin' feet with the buttons that had all the hardware to make it work. Anyway, I'd guess they opted out of magnets because they don't want some kid to end up swallowing them down the line and then them getting sued for it ... I've heard of that happening with other magnetic kids' toys that were being played with and the magnets fell out and were swallowed by littler kids.
It's a neat concept, but who knows how long it will last. I also figure with some kids before long the dolls will eventually be just little heads with very long hair ... now that's a Halloween horror, LOL!

Hello, I don’t expect you to answer but the old videos on this account used to be my childhood. I used to be so excited to get on CZcams and see you and your child (not saying name incase deadname now, saw a change to he/him in description) and sometimes husband’s videos. I just wanted to express how deeply happy I am to have been raised by your videos. I’m 15 now (I know, still young) but I’m so happy to come back every once in a while and relish on my childhood. I bought my daughter 1 of these it was actually going to be a present from the tooth fairy and then she ended up losing her tooth at an overnight with my mom but she’s already got another loose tooth so I’ve just been waiting. I also have a Barbie pop reveal set aside to have her check out ❤️❤️❤️
I was never big on paper dolls. If I had these as a kid, I’d be sad that I couldn’t move the limbs or pose them at all. But it’s a nice upgrade to standard paper dolls for kids who like that kind of toy.
I enjoyed paper dolls as a kid, and these are a really interesting idea. I do like that some of the clothes have more 3d elements like fur or ruffles or whatever. That said they are still strange to me with the 3D head. Still, they do look different and the idea of them kinda just being like a desk buddy/fidget kinda distraction toy is really good.
These definitely remind me of Colorforms from the 1950's, 60's. I played with them all the time when I was little. It was magical. Whenever I see some in the store, I pick one up. I also played with paper dolls and still collect them. This combination is sooooooo cool! Can it get any better? I want to get them all! Absolutely a-dorable!! Love your presentation!!
Just watched your video and I brought Harper to see if my great granddaughter would love playing with these type of dolls. I’d love that PR box to go along with her too! I actually found magnetic paper dolls at the Goodwill to introduce her but these are much prettier. Thank you for sharing us your thoughts and reminding those of us that really enjoyed playing with paper dolls. I can’t wait to play.

I love the idea of these! I used to play with paper dolls too as a kid (early 2000') and I always loved how much variety and fantasy they could provide. You might not get textures or volume, but paper clothes can play a lot more with designs because they're not bound to a budget. You don't have to think about the fabrics, buttons, belcro, zippers, etc. It's a very economic way to get bold fashion pieces.

I think they're very cute, but I don't know. I've always thought of paper dolls as cheaper alternatives for people who can't afford to regularly buy normal dolls, so selling a version of them with comparable prices to normal dolls feels very weird to me.
The package is ADORABLE. The doll heads and hair looks great. The clothes design is soo cute…. If it was real and not stickers? I don’t like the 3D head and flat body just odd. The child in me wants to swap the head on a Barbie! Lol 😂 to me they have such potential if they had normal outfits and body’s. I use to love paper dolls too but I like them flat? I also love that PR box like a closet and rug! They should sell that whole kit really.

I am begging Mattel to team up with these dolls and make all Harper's fashion pieces and sell it. Especially gen3 Clawdeen needs some super cool and bold clothes

these will be my new paper doll now. I no longer have it but years ago in my mother and i's old doll collection we had what I think was a type of giant scrap book. that had the special vinyl protection sheet on each page. in side was a very old paper doll. she had a front and a back view and all of her clothes were front and back and it was unique because it was layers. you had her under clothes which were little pantaloons and a chemise, her corset, petticoat and then there were her outfits. they were all protected in this booklet. my favorite of the piece was the backview wedding dress because it had a very lovely train.

I'm sorry, I just think these dolls are dumb. And I'm sure I'll be in the minority, but whatever. If I was spending that much money on a kid (or myself), I'd just buy a real doll. Because 're-usable' stickers are going to last five minutes in a kid's hands and then this doll will be discarded because she has no clothes. The whole point of paper dolls (also a 70s kid) was they were inexpensive. So when the paper tore or the doll got bent, it wasn't that big of a deal to get a new book of them.
I agree with the money side of things, paper dolls are a cheap alternative to the average barbie doll. so yes this needs to be more affordable

I think that this would be a hit with the younger kids. Honestly Costco was selling the wooden dolls with the magnetic clothes and it was a hit with children up to 8 years old. I think that this really is a lot of fun as I purchased some for my own nieces.

Something about these reminds me of the early 2000s dress up dolls you would play with online. I spent hours as a child playing with them, no wonder I'm still a doll lover as an adult 😂

These are cool but, they freak me out with the flat body and 3D head lol
I think a big part of the paper doll experience was that it was cheap and easy to make your own clothes for the dolls. I mean with Barbies, the fashion packs cost almost as much as a new doll. And even though I have sewing patterns etc to make my own doll clothes, I know they are probably going to be annoying to make, because they're so small.
If they gave you some blank stickers, or some clear reusable tape and some paper shapes to trace over, then that would make the Style Baes even better. We could involve all sorts of textures - imagine using leftover cupcake liners and other craft scraps or "rubbish" to make clothing for them and having that tactile element. Taking a small amount of actual denim from those pants that you're distressing or throwing away.
Drawing different shapes and patterns to help figure out what combination of your own wardrobe would look good together - like a low tech version of the computer program the main character used in Clueless?
Heck, you could even leave their faces "bare" and have washable markers and/or glitter gel to try out different makeup looks with the fashions. Add yet another layer to the experience.

The doll reminds me of flatsie dolls that were little and fit in your pocket they were in the 70s they had a house and all sorts of things to play with I loved paper dolls although I used to call them cut out dolls I had a huge chocolate box filled with them but it got stolen when we were burgled I don’t if they thought what was inside was valuable as I had big rubber bands keeping the lid on it lol

Paper dolls are the best! But I don't like this 2D Body / 3D head idea at all. Still, I can imagine quite a few people will enjoy the lots of fashions + hair play possibilities of these dolls. Great review, by the way. :)

Gosh I love these dolls, but as a inbox collector I would never buy these as the box the doll is in is horribly huge for no reason really in my personal opinion. Price point is amazing on the line, but to bad they made the box so painly annoying .
I honestly think online dress up games are more the modern paper dolls. This isn't a terrible idea but I honestly prefer a regular doll to this. ❤
