Morakniv Floating Knife Review - Great for Fishing?

A few months back I got my hands on one of the newest knives from Morakniv to test out. I started liking this knife right off the bat due to its nice cork handles which are very grippy even in wet conditions. Due to those cork handles and the fact that this ultra light weight knife floats, I think this could be a great fishing knife for some folks out there.

I've heard nothing but good reviews about the Mora's and have been considering buying one. My only question about this knife is the durability of that cork handle? Is it soft or pretty firm?

Good question. Its pretty firm but I will eventually treat the cork with some cork seal. That would be my suggestion for long term care.

I have not has any issues with the grips on any of my lews rods. The winn grips are legit.
