Very pleased to welcome Sam Gregory onto the podcast to share his journey and some of his knowledge.
Sam entered the world of football analytics from an economics background and was also a key member of the analytics community back on Twitter around a decade ago.
Tom has spent time in various tech/data companies before working for York Utd (Canada) and Inter Miami as head of analytics. He joins me for this video 3-4 months into his new role as director of analytics for US Soccer. With the Copa America and the upcoming World Cup, now seems like a really interesting time for football (ok, soccer), in the US!
