+Kiana Speaking How can people shield iKON from Monsta X? I am sure iKON knows about Monsta X since the latter debuted before them. They are different groups. I am a fan of Mosta X especially of Kihyun but I got into Kpop because of iKON.
mystery lover Well that's good for you. I've been a fan of Kpop since Mr.Simple came out with Super Junior and I know how it is to see a good group not get enough recognition because of other groups. It sucks and it's a hard business. I don't think iKon is terrible, I just think Monsta X should get more attention too considering that they were out longer.
***** I love how you said both groups are great in their own way but went off on a tangent about iKon. So many groups can be considered artists it isn't fair of you to sit there and promote iKon like that. I never said anything bad about iKon, all I said was they were shielding Monsta X, because of the fact that they debuted not too long ago and they get so much love. It's as if people forget that Monsta X is here. Though I strongly agree with "Fighting Monsta X" 😊😊
I guess it all boils down to how do their agencies promote their artists and the hype created before debut. iKON have more advantage since they've been through two survival shows and a lot of people know them because YG includes them in concert line ups way before they debuted. Monsta X is a good group and in the right time, they will be recognized for their talent too. Not all groups can be successful from the beginning but their hardships will make them stronger and better.
