- The video is from 1940s films from Greg Smith's collection. The films were taken by Lee Paris beginning in the 1940s.
Lee did filming in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St Paul and New York City.
The films were taken beginning in the 1940s and are in Black and White and early Color. They've been edited and some additional footage and music from the period has been added.

The Children's Area has many different layouts for the girls and boys to operate as well as work tables where they can create and build models and run wooden trains. There is a LEGO Work Area and Thomas the Tank Trains to run as well.

The photographer was then stanind in the last car of a westbound Burlington passenger train from Chicago - the video shows crossing the St Croix River in Prescott and then along the River in Wisconsin After leaving the St Paul Union Depot and heading towards Minneapolis he took additional film crossing the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis

Thank you for the annotations. The train at 3:15... Did they use the same observation car on trains other than The Hiawatha?
I believe the Milwaukee Road only made 8 Beaver Tail cars and they were only used on Hiawatha trains.
