Silver Lake Provincial Park is a provincial recreation park in the municipality of Tay Valley, Lanark County in Eastern Ontario, Canada. It is on Ontario Highway 7 near the community of Maberly, approximately 30 kilometres away from Perth, Ontario, and is located on a lake of the same name.
Hope you enjoyed seeing around Silver Lake Provincial Park! What do you think, would you give this park a try?
Awesome video! That sunset looked great, but even better in person!
It was a beautiful sunset 😍
Sorry about the mosquitos, Allen. Thanks for taking us along on another great park tour. I am learning so much about this type of travel. Nice.
Enjoyed watching this informative video! Would love to try the van/rv life someday!
BEAUTIFUL PARK WITH A NICE LAKE! BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO SPEND ONE DAY WITH RELAX 😀 NICE VIDEO!
Great facilities with laundry and charging stations. Looks like a great option to camp!
I want to say you do such a great job with these park/camping videos. I love how thorough you are! 😄
I wish I had camped this year. Silver Lake is beautiful. I have been once or twice when I was a kid! Hopefully, you didn't get too much rain while you were there. What a fun relaxing video! Stay safe and warm, my friend!
Luv your videos. Keep them coming. Been camping around 20 years and visiting 23 parks. Your reviews help me decide on some of the parks that I haven’t been. Thank you.
Thanks so much! Glad they can be helpful. I've got a few more this season before we pack up until 2024. 🙌
Love how indepth your videos are. We agree with the noise and how busy it may get. When we camp, we like to do a lot of trails and exploring, so that might be a drawback for us. But checking out the brewery and chip truck would be pretty cool. Awesome stuff as usual!
The road noise would be a bummer, but at least it had a nice beach...and nearby brewery 🍻
Great team work backing into the site! I think that would be the most part for me 😆
I like the park, very beautiful and surrounded by nature. The lake is perfect for kayaking. The road noise would probably bother me a bit, but nothingis perfect. I really love your trailer. Looks cozy. And the food looked delicious. Camping food is so awesome.
That's a nice park with lot of greenery, water body and the trail. Enjoyed it.
Thanks, it was a cute park.
Beautiful video and camping experience with all the required details, we have never been to camping but your videos will definitely make us try it. Thanks for sharing videos with all details.
The camping views were excellent. Hope you had a great camping. It's so good to see that you guys are exploring so many different places. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Yes we like to explore as much as we can 😊
Great sharing and another so nice video
Hi 🌼🧑🌼🌼
This park looks nice. Campfire dinner is always great. There's something about having food cooked over a campfire. The conditions for kayaking to island did seem a bit to much to get to that island. The brewery looks very nice too.
Love the camping spots and parks that you guys visit, keep up the great work
What a beautiful park! Your van is also so cool! Looks like you had a lovely trip
Your thorough videos always provide valuable insights. While the park's beauty is undeniable, road noise would be a concern, as you rightly pointed out.
Wow, im not a camper but seeing this, I think I`d gladly camp there.
I find it so considerate that they have ice and charcoal right there incase someone runs out.
Looks like you guys have a nice system for setting up. I’ve never heard of a spider dog before. Sounds yummy. Love the beach area. I can see why it was busy. Bummer about the road noise.
What a fabulous sunset you could capture there. A very nice place to hang out and camping. So much greenery surrounding made it quite a pure environment.
Enjoyed it again!!
I enjoyed your park video revue, you do an excellent job.
Thanks so much!
I live the spider hotdogs. I need to try them out. The lake and kayaking looked like fun.
I'm a fan of the spider dogs 😂
The good old.daya damn i miss camping
I miss it too! Only a couple months to go.
some nice trails through some beautiful forest there Sara! And that 'pie iron' is a really neat innovation - a jaffle iron when you dont have power! Hey do you guys use Farenheit in Canada? I thought you were Celcius? Or is it just because the RV is from the States? Like the way they served the beer in those wooden things, that's very cool indeed! Great video as always!
Me and the wife stopped at the nice little rest stop on the other side of the lake on are way from Murphys point to pres'quile
Great video like always 👍
Thanks so much! I'll have to try out Murphys point next year. We enjoyed Presqu'ile.
@TheAverageTourist watch when you go down to Murphys as the mine tour sometimes only goes one day a week, I do recommend Murphys I just got back from earl rowe today and I leave in a week ish for sharbot lake .. Emily and sibbald .. good chatting with you again 👍
That little rest stop is great, we often use it when travelling on 7!
Beautiful video and I really enjoyed watching it. Thanks for sharing this video with us. New subscriber here:)
Thanks for the support 🙏
This looks like a very nice place to camp (& glamp as some of us do 😅) --- New sub from us !!
This place looks beautiful. I like your guys set up with the camper. How much was it to kit it all out? I like your little cooking contraption. Definitely down to kayak. I'd say one of the nicer parks you guys have showcased. Always gotta have that craft beer.
Back again for this amazing park.
Kayaking here looks so beautiful and peaceful. It looks like all the parks in Canada have lake access. Is that correct?
It looks nice, but I'm with you - the road noise would be enough to put me off. Thanks for the review, great and helpful as always!
Happy to share! Glad it can be useful info 👍
@@TheAverageTourist Absolutely - finding out where you don't want to go is even more important than finding out which parks you *do* want to visit.
