I was never really attached when Elizabeth passed... so many spoilers, but now, this scene had me silently crying at my desk. Especially where the one dude at Jorvik stables said he found her in a box, skinny and starved, that’s what really got me.

Her death was important in so many ways ... first of all because she did not die in vain, but sacrificed herself for a greater good. Then, death is a part of life and I am really happy that Star Stable dared to bring us this quest. It is, as one of the caracters sais, a celebration of life. We WILL ride again, Elizabeth may not be here but she lives in our hearts.
There is no need to revive the dead, because this isn't how life works.
Yes, that's true, but Star Stable is a game, even though life and death was something natural in real life. She did sacrifice her life for a good reason, but a game only contains imaginations, so that doesn't mean that they can't do an update where she can live again. But to be honest, Star Stable has been releasing the Jorvik Wild horse, this horse doesn't even exist, a game doesn't need to have in real life things, they can use they imaginations to make cool things! And what about when you fall from high in Star Stable? You don't die do you? It's because it's just a game, and it's just to have fun! But yes, i understand what you meant by that. 😊💕
@@AutumnMiddleforest I understand your point absolutely. Yes, there is magic all over Jorvik and the most incredible things happen. But this doesn't mean that people there don't die. They are, as magically as they are, all mortal in the end.
What would be the purpose of Elizabeth coming back? Maybe her death was exactly what was needed ... for Alex (just as an example) to get over her insecurity?
Because that is the beautiful thing with the imaginations you mentioned: Everything can get a deeper meaning. It isn't like in real life, where you wake up one day and find that your parents, relatives or friends have passed - just like that.
In this case it is a lesson about death and life going on even if there is a gap someone left. Not many games dare to take on this challenge ... and in my opinion SSO absolutely nailed the message.

playing sso for the first time when i was such a small child was everything to me, now that im older and still playing i felt i grew up with that game, the characters, and the map changes and new areas, and how the horse models looked so different, and new players will never have that experience, and now Elizabeths gone, it really did hurt after growing up playing that game alongside her.

I’m really wanna sing this for something but school is over tomorrow and I loved it so much and this song is just making me think about it. I really don’t want it to end it’s been my favorite and I can’t stand it when other people cry because it makes me cry. Plus the cutscenes of the other characters just make me cry as well. They all look so sad, and there was so much we didn’t know.

I know the song is for Elizabeth but for me it's just remains me of the funeral that I had to attend on June 5th for my grandma. She passed away on June 3rd at 3am on a Monday morning.
I'll forever remember her last words that she said to me as I hugged and kissed her head for the second to last time. Even know thinking about her being gone brings tears to my eyes knowing that she's gone. She was the only grandparent that I ever knew in my life.
If anyone reads this and you still have your grandparent(s) spend time with them as much as you can. Don't do what I did and stay home when you could be going to see your grandma or grandpa! Be thankful that you still have them. Tell them you love them each time you visit them!

I was honestly so shocked when I played it. The game developed so much throughout the years that I've been playing it. I know that I don't know all the details from the start, because my first language wasn't and still isn't in the game so I in the beginning practically didn't knew what was going on (which I'm partly thankful for, I learned a lot), but I understand how important Elizabeth was. And honestly her being gone wasn't the only thing that surprised me to see in the quests. The characters are so complexed and have so much problems of their own that I didn't knew of before (or never realized it, I don't know). So yeah I started to like soulriders even more, because even though they have superpowers they still have big problems in their lives and they're giving the kids playing it a good examples that you can overcome your fear and unfortunates.

You know SSO killed it when I, someone who barely followed the plot of the quests and really only plays for the RRP aspects, BAWLED the first time I watched this cut scene. I didn't know much about the plot (I'm a dialogue skipper, don't hate) but this one GOT ME...Immediately after it was over, I came to youtube to try to recreate the magic. This song slaps, the cut scene is great, and the plot to get here was killer. SSO needs to find a way to recreate this magic in the current game bc, tbh, right now if feels very lazy and rushed corner to corner...
