In the baby with the mama that is just sad we need to stop abusing these animals I have a rescue horse that was saved from The slaughter house and now she is perfect even taken me to shows and hunter jumper. Lls you called me a fag because I think that its sad that the animals are in such horrible conditions? Also, horses were not bred for slaughter. They were considered machines and were bred and used for farm work and to pull buggies, ect.. Since they aren't really used for work nowadays they are bred as companion animals/pets and partners in our sport. Now, maybe in other countries when they are no longer able to work {where they are still used for work} they are slaughtered for there meat but, that's not the main purpose of why they are bred, nowadays. ;)
I think that people REALLY need to think twice before buy8nh a horse or horses. A lot people just do not know the care, time and expensive that it takes. Plus over breeding is a BIG factor.

yes, they are indiscriminately bred gypsy vanner horses. if you notice many of them even have the dark patches in more or less the same place on their bodies! previously they would have been dumped on waste ground or amongst native wild herds to pollute their blood lines. probably be on the boat for france - meat.
This is so not true I live in cumbria my family has went to that oxian for the years and years we have had horses and it's nothing like your making it out to be they do not go to kill this is england in Cumbria not Syria we are not cruel to animals so stop trying to make Kirk y oxian look bad it's not

I feel so bad for the horses and animals at auctions. they are in horrible conditions. most horses at auctions end up in slotter houses. : (

they get them on a lorry to france and kill them there for the meat market. stop over breeding.
