- It’s day 19. I’m trying to raise my chess rating from 0 to 2000 ELO within 30 days.
RULE 1: Only Rapid Games.
RULE 2: I have to explain every single move I play.
RULE 3: I will give you a checklist of things that you must do to improve your rating.
RULE 4: If I lose a game, I have to play the GROB (worst chess opening) in the next one.
This speedrun is authorized on chess.com. The ELO points will be refunded.

21:45 missed the queen rook fork...free cheese macaroni 🤌
I have a plan...You keep going to 2200!!
Even better? 3000!!

You Go Girl!!!
Another excellent episode. I really like you playing e4 and playing aggressive. This is so much more entertaining than boring d4 positional games.
ahahah thank you
Your joyous enthusiasm is infectious! The recipe for online success seems to be to stomp lesser players into the ground while explaining how you do it.
My new favourite chess streamer. It's so educational, and you're a great player.
At 17:11 i think you missed a quick checkmate with your light square bishop. Love your videos Alessia!!
21:55 you had two possible forks with the knight, so your opponent had to be more careful
Oh yes, there was Nb6!
@@Alessia_SanteramoI think u shouldn't trade.that black rook isn't do anything.your knight is strong at centre.just my 1300 elo thought :)
Thanks for your videos, helped me a lot to reach 1000 elo recently, and now on my way to 1200. 💕Much love from Switzerland
you're really my favorite content creator at the moment!! keep it up I hope u get up there, u deserve it! sooo instructive and fuuun!
My favorite too! I love her enthusiasm mixed with a bit of craziness, and I always love ratings climbs.
alessia your vision is awesome !!! i aspire to play like you , making things happen and good threat assesment :D
I'm loving the active playstyle. Reminds me of Paul Morphy really sick plays with a cheerful personality on tops! ❤🎉
Paul Morphy was from another world, just saying
youre awesome! love your energy
Don´t support any sociopathic individuals, and you MUST know that they are well represented among titled chess players.
@@elkr79 what the biship? damn boiii calm down
@@elkr79are you ok
@@usibistroWhy do you doubt that I'm OK? You and your chess goddess are not OK, I guess.
Great video Alessia keep it up !
That last game was ruthless!
As far as I am concerned, more italian is what I need here !! ( I am a french guy, I don't even understand italian but ... who needs grammatical knowledge with so much hand movements ? )
Very nice chess as usual. I didn't feel any struggle in this video too. Opponents falling one after the other.
I think Alessia's games are starting to have an effect on my ( low-level ) play. I am only 1650 in blitz on lichess, however yesterday I played a nice 97% accuracy game with the czech Pirc as white (Yes, I know, it is not called czech Pirc with white ). I relentlessly tried to improve my pieces, and my opponent ended up with no play at all !! That was very satisfactory.
So, I am here to say a big thank you.
Happy day everyone,
Matthieu

Great lesson! Yes it was worth watching. Best chess channel on the net.
I don’t know why but I find this so much entertaining even if I am not a chess player myself 😅
Second time noticed you play d3 in the scandi opposed to d4, which would be your usual style. Was going to ask your reason but just figured it out. Bf5 is annoying in some lines and also early queenside castle can put pressure down the d file.
Also d4 becomes annoying to protect after long castle where the rook is directly aimed at the pawn and the knight still sitting on c3
Alessia is the best!!!
Do you only play the games you show or do you grind elo off cam also?
Alessia continu that way you ll reach 2 m subs and you can live out of this business good job
5:13, the opponent was thinking if Kf8, then Qxf5+ followed by Qxg6. And decided that running the King to d8 is the best plan.
Please tell us what site you use when playing chess/or what chess site/ I am new at this but I have practiced against a computer that I believe is not a good way to improve. Appreciate any response. Have learned a lot by watching you on CZcams.Appreciate any comments
What time of day you usually start recording?
Great video! ♟
That is the coolest shirt!
"This is how I won soo many games when I was a kid"
most repeated line I have ever noticed
Theres a leanhardt gambit for Qa5 i think its always fun and very likely
I think at 11:10 Ba6 would be better.
Truee
When you play it seems so simple like oh we just go there with the bishop and attack. When I play it's like huh how is that even possible? How did that knight make it to that square?
That's so true 😅😅. Watching these games, everything makes total sense but when we play it's total confusion.
Just yesterday I was playing and I gave a checkmate without even realising it 😂😂😂
A check with no fears will leave you in tears? Alessia aiutami con questa traduzione!!!
In the thumbnail, if Qd4 attacking knight then white could play Nd3 moving knight to safety as well as preventing mate
After the queen exchange and Bd6 black definitely has an easier game
I have question, maybe somebody answer me, i am 1200 in rapid, but when i try blitz i strugle 6 to 700, is there some way to improve or i am just to slow?
Okay at the 5:00 how did your opponent move twice?!?! Not only that he was still in check on the first move 🤔🤔🤨🤨🤨 I learn a lot from you but I suspect a computer glitch!
doesn't revealing your prefered openings in online games affect your tournaments performances badly?? I've gotten the impression that pros usually avoid this... nevertheless, thx for the content, I really learn a lot from them
make some opening videos specially scandavian :))
17:11 bishop c4 was mate
Amazing
goooo shorty go !!!
Missed fork on 21:44 on b6
Yooo.. thanks from Indonesia
They must add a button which is stronger than just like
I'm present and accounted for today's lesson. Let's proceed!
You shouldnt have premoved Qxg6 in the first game because if they played Kf8 then you can take the pawn first
LIKE IT!
23:35 pawn f 6 and then knight e7 or queen h4 ?
Also works but better not to move the knight to e7 and keep it on the diagonal so you can play g4 if h5
great videos alessia but when are you playing subscribers
I don't want this to end either😢
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Without reason make a check? Time to get rekt.
Op❤❤
21:49 Why not knight b6?
Yoooo you've a good Italian 😂
What make you semi strong that you always attaking
21:51 why not Nb6? Forks the queen and the rook.
I think she got tunnel vision and missed it
@@user-vw9lj1yn1b That's what I was thinking, but maybe she had a reason for it - after all, moving to b6 does move away from the center and reduces the number of squares the knight controls. But on the other hand, you get a rook. I really hope Alessia will see this and comment. I'd like to know what her reasoning was. (edit) - I just saw she commented on it in another thread - looks like she just didn't notice.
You should start using the game analysis and learn from your mistakes. Look at your missed wins and you will become a better player
I think even if you were 1600, which you arent, missing Bc4# is unforgivable. (Game 3)
Nice.
I reach to 2500
I love you 🙂
primo!
"a quote without purpose is a quote i just made up"....?? it sounds better in Italian though
You are adorable 💖
Over far too quickly
Weird how you know all this theory but miss easy wins.
I think i found my new crush 😊
Attack with checkers, chess is over rated 😂😂
Why your opponent play so bad
Sociopathic chess player enjoys making injury to weakest players. What a shame to all commercializers of chess.
A check without reason puts your opponent in prison!!
_Not legally so don't come for me_ 🥲
