Unfortunately this recipe is best when made exactly like this recipe. I will post soon a substitute for diet conscious people. If you make this recipe just eat a small piece.

Did you cook long enough, did the color change? You have to let it set for a long time and then take out the pieces

Yes, that the reason make sure to measure with a measuring cup and use the same measurement for sugar and ghee
