I hate how some cosmetologists tries to deceive patients with photos with different lighting. Just compare the shadows in the before and after photos to understand what I mean. For me, this is always the best sign that this particular doctor cannot achieve noticable results with the procedure itself.

Definitely don't need lip filler and yoyr jawline is great. Very masculine look.
those lines are cause by a narrow palate in my opinion. if you expand your palate those lines will go away by adding more internal volume through the maxilla.
Adding filler to the cheeks does very little to change nasal labial folds. I had deeper ones than you and have had them filled slowly over a period of two years with Oxane, result is amazing. It does not pull down on the area, nor does it drag skin down, it has stimulated tissue underneath and filled itself back out. If you want big cheeks sure put it in your cheeks lol

I had my cheeks filled last week. I'm going back next week for a 'review'. I had the minimum amount because I was unsure. I can see the beginnings of what I want but I think I need more. Double.
That's the best way to do it. Just build on it until you're happy!

I Had filler in the "Naso Labual" folds that didn't real do anything, however another operator at the same clinic suggest the procedure you had, looks good
Aww thanks! :) Have you tried the method of filling from the top of the cheeks to pull the skin up instead of filling the folds? Could be an option :)

They should last around 12 months in the cheeks, but of you tend to move the area a lot (like lips) they can last a lot less. Also depends on the brand etc - but great to trial and see!
What you see is mostly the result of different lighting (look at the shadows) and different camera lens angles (the nose and center of the face in the first photo looks bigger due to the different angle lens). If the result were really noticeable, there would be no need to go to this tricks, but unfortunately this is a common place in advertisements of conscientious cosmetologists, because. patients are largely unaware of this.
i love cheek filler, however, voluma is expensive to maintain! I wish there was like a "frequent filler" program earning points lol

Went back to work straight away, I just had them topped up again and it's been around 7 months?
I've done heaps of research through the years and really disagree with this approach. I don't like the look it gives to women and deffo not good on guys as I think it feminizes the cheekbone.When it comes to women theres always a proportion change that goes along with it that makes their features look altered in a bad way( see madonna ) Some faces look good with it but not everyone. I think the mistake most practitioners make is one approach fits all. In your case you didn't anything done to your cheek in my opinion and would be better of actually projecting the area behind and around the nose. But if thats the look you're going for fine everyones wants something different. Everyone goes on about eyebrows needing a lift. Most typically sexy masculine actors and models actually have a low close the eye heavy brows rather than high ones. I don't know how people can't see that.
That's no problem Dave, you're totally entitled to your opinion! I trust my practitioner and am VERY happy with the results :) This is a video on cheek fillers, so nothing was done to the eyebrows... that's in my botox video where you'll see we're very careful not to lift the eyebrow at all. I completely agree with you when you say not one approach fits all which is why we had a lengthy consultation to figure out what was best for me. I would say yes but I wish it had more of an effect. But it's a careful balance you have to make so your cheeks don't get too big lol. I always say to everyone though, what I have done for my face, may not suit what you need doing because our faces are so different.
but the 'cheeks getting too big' , well it is not really the cheek beside the say lips, but more so the area at the side and just under the eye area u r referring too right ? u think that can get too big ?
Yes, if you see in my video, I had filler in my cheeks to lift the nasal labial area up and stretch it out. So you have to be careful not to put too much in the cheeks. Does that make sense?

That's so hard to know, mostly because I'm not the professional and each face is different - just make sure you trust your professional! :)

This one was Laserclinics (back in 2016) but recently I had them redone at SkinDNA. They used Perlane for me :)

Hey dude, I've got a consultation booked for fillers but I was just wondering, if I get them done on the day can I still go to work the next day and look relatively normal or do I need to give it time to settle?
Is this for cheeks? I went straight back to work. As with any injection, you just have that risk of bruising though...

The cost is really hard to say - it all depends on how much you need and the place you go to. If they're good, they'll work to your budget :)

Nope - no swelling at all! I did have to go back a few times to massage the product to make sure the shape was right, but no swelling at all :)
