@@TheMovieJourney i think youll be the first. no one in oz ive spoken to about it has ever heard of it. and i bring it up a lot. a lot :). My fav movies of past decade or so are in no particular order: Whiplash, Hereditary, The Favourite, Fury Road, Grand Budapest Hotel, and Palm Springs. (im surprised i dont have tarantino there, once in hollywood and hateful 8 are good but just not up there with this lot). You will enjoy, i guarantee it. cheers

Another show for the list if you haven't seen it, "You're the worst." An anti-rom com show, very edgy, hilarious and suprisingly heartfelt.

Lost season 2 was as good as season 1 if you ask me. Probably better given they introduced Desmond and started going down the Dharma rabit hole.
True Detective. Now there's a show that had a better season 1 than season 2. Night and day difference.
NewsRadio (best sitcom ever) comes out of the gate good. Yes, it gets better, but the pilot was sitcommery gold and S1 is great. Unfortunately, the great change to Parks structure that makes it so good after S2 is abandoned in later seasons and the show finishes quite badly, but it’s worth the ride. The cream of the crop comedy Parks at it’s peak is historically/iconically standalone special.
Sidenote: Pratt and Ana Farris lived across the street from me at the time of this show and Donna was my local watering hole drinking buddy for about 5 years before I found out she was on Parks.
