Dolphins will ram the divers, in the same way they ram sharks and other threats. Dolphins are fast and powerful(f=m.a). Serious threat to divers. Using animals is not archaic ,as discussed. The blending of tech and beast is hardcore AF. They are really good at locating mines and submarines. We, in the US, still utilize these same tactics. ((the formula is Mass times Acceleration equals force/impact))
