I am mainly an ale or cider person too. I will drink wine, gin and whiskey occasionally, but not very often. I also like a good drop of mead.

The ciders were very good. Not big commercial ones small independent makers

The Blue Bell is worth a visit at anytime, not just during the beer festival. It's open from 4pm weekdays and mid day Saturday and Sunday.
How do you think I found out about the beer festival. I had more than one trip to the Blue Bell before the beer festival. Th staff and cliental are wonderful in there. I even got invited to play in one of the quiz teams on quiz night.
