This tale truly resonates. Cancer ex kept his dark world hidden from me. I created peep holes and realised that his world was not conducive to my wellbeing. In all fairness he struggled to acclimatise to my world too. On our own in a neutral space we shared an all consuming love, we fooled ourselves into thinking that our love story was one for the ages. On reflection this was a fantasy world.
