    This is a very good intervention for those who are troubled to the point of taking their life.

    Marv:I totally agree that suicide is an act of desperation and more. I don’t condone suicide, for “its a permanent solution to a temporary problem” and none of us can say what’s going on in that persons head. I believe Judas did repent for betraying Jesus, that’s why he threw back the 30 pieces of gold back to the Pharisees, because he was so ashamed he became so distraught (he went out of his mind) he couldn’t live with himself no longer. Matthew 12:31 Jesus,said “And so I tell you, EVERY SIN and BLASPHEMY will be FORGIVEN men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.”

    The 6th Commandment, which says, "Thou shalt not kill," uses the Hebrew word "Ratsach" (murder) which is essentially defined as the act of preying upon the helpless and the innocent, of taking the life of someone who would not wish his or her life to be taken. Suicide is NOT self-murder. The above definition demonstrates that. Suicide is an act of desperation, based upon the belief that there are no other alternatives to end long term and increasingly intolerable suffering. But that aside, why are we discussing this in such a legalistic and dogmatic manner? Is that what God is all about? Rules? Do this; don't do that? What are we to think and feel about the biblical statement that God is Love? What would a loving god do to someone who has lived in too much torment? Lets think about the spirit of the law and not just the letter of it.

    Dear Sir,
    I have to question your authority. Thanks for being kind but I think your last statement (in order to be credible) should be:
    I DON'T KNOW. Because that is the real "simple answer".
    I think one thing neglected in your video is the simple fact that; NONE OF US ASKED BE BORN IN THIS WORLD. None of us were offered the gift of life with the option to choose, Yes, or No.
    Is suicide a sin? I think not because we are not participants in the decision of our own birth. The Bible can be misconstrued but it dos not address this issue directly.
    I m a believer in Christ, a Christian, although I do not agree with or associate with any religion or human viewpoint. Think about it. Jesus never raised an army to fight anyone. Some discount suffering by referring to Job (as in the book of Job) and his suffering (another old testament story). This is old testament stuff that really needs to be read and interpreted as in the day it was written within the circumstances of the time and place. These are fables of morality only.
    I believe and rest in the knowledge and faith that John 3:16 is not a lie and there are no exceptions. To believe in the perfect integrity of God you have to believe that he possesses perfect integrity and in incapable of lying.
    No matter what you do in your life you cannot change the promise of your own salvation since Jesus died for all sin, past, present and future. No sin against others or our lessor decision of ending our own life is not even on the table.
    God is perfect, we are not. Gods word is not questionable in terms of integrity. Question anything else you like as written from human viewpoint and human choices of books in the Bible that were allowed to read as decreed for inclusion by the court of Roman Emperor Constantine. Again, human viewpoint.
    I do not believe in any of the other concepts that you talk about such as the paranormal or having "hundreds or thousands of life times".
    Is it possible to think about only others when committing suicide? Sacrifice for loved ones can be the most noble way to take charge of your legacy for the benefit of the survivors. Think about it. Would you die for the well being and safety of your loved ones future? Courageous?
    YES!
    Consider this;
    You are dyeing from a terminal illness. Your medical bills are out of control, the mortgage is behind and bill collectors keep harassing you on the phone and by mail.
    You have a large insurance policy and you know if that premium is not paid by the end of this month, your family will be on the streets and your two teenage daughters will not be able to go to college. Their future is seriously in question.
    Is it to be more noble to allow the car to be repossessed so your kids cant get to school or pay tuition due in only one month or to simply check out by your own means?
    Good readers, I am only saying to you there is not always a good or better day ahead.
    Things do not always get better when you know your time is really up.
    I am only trying to say that there are some certain and very limited occasions when suicide is an honorable decision and there is no harsh judgement at the end.
    Good luck to all of you and thanks for reading and considering another point of view.
    Celebrate happy times and experiences in life.
    Dale

    @SurBlade Read Revelation 20:11-15
    It is very clear there
    Also, is not the soul that go to sleep is the body and is for those who die with Jesus Christ, well those that didnt die in sin(a believer)
    Luke 8:52
    Her body was asleep, not her soul, the souls dont go to sleep..

    In the bible are a few examples of people taking their own lives(Saul for ex) however we only know of one outcome. Judas hung himself and Jesus said "it would be better if he had not been born". Judas did not repent. There has to be repentance involved. And the "once saved always saved" is false doctrine. Jesus said in REV 3:5 that he could blot your name out of the book of life unless you repent. And He was talking to the church

    Jesus committed suicide. How ever purposeful or logical his reasons he surrendered knowing he would be put death. You can talk all you want about the pain suicide causes to loved ones. Keep in mind Jesus watched with his own human eyes as his mother cried in agony. He even said forgive these people for they know not what they do. But he did! He knew very well. Then when he doesn't die right away he yells at God for forsaking him. Very simply he was pissed that he was still alive. He was in pain and he wanted the pain to be over. Sounds a lot like suicide to me.

    Jesus told the sinner on the cross that he would be with him in paridise that day. And if you never new god or jesus your not held by the law but we know what is right and wrong so if you can put a gun to your head and your heart doesn't race or beat crazy you need to sign up to go to war. But
