Not only, is the 70s the greatest decade of music, ever, 78 is the greatest year of music.

Wow, so takes me back! It's so sad that today's Top 40 or popular charts can't be this varied (sorry, songs like "Bad and Bougie" and the like, well, just suck...bad!!). For those of us who grew up with 60s/70s/80s and even early 90s music, we really did grow up in a great time.

There was a sprinkling of recognizable hits in the mix....but most refreshingly heard for the first time ..

great list! but one small problem, a farewell to kings by rush (the album with closer to the heart) was not made in 1978, it was made a year prior. rush actually made hemispheres in 1978, which is considered one of the greatest progressive rock pieces, consisting of 4 tracks.
