The movie stars Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as the Sanderson Sisters, 3 witches who cast a spell on Salem in 1693. On Halloween night in 1993 Max Denison breaks into the witches old house and brings them back from the dead. Max along with his sister Dani and his crush Allison have to stop the witches before the suck the lives out of the children of Salem.

There's some lovely history about the bike path. Back in the 18th century a lady who owned a nearby tavern with her husband used to make "rose water" from roses she collected there. It is said that on the days she was boiling the flowers the whole neighborhood smelled of roses. General John Glover's tomb is at the top of the path though not seen in the movie. His mariners rowed Washington across the Delaware.
That red tower is not a church. That is Marblehead's town hall -- Abbot Hall -- which among other things houses the original of the "Spirit of '76" painting. The drummer boy at the left was from here and his father bought it for the town.
The Bus Stop is a real clothing shop, by the way. It's been here for decades.

great vid. As a note you can enter the town hall for the play cry innocent. It's an interactive play with actors reenacting one of the trials during the witch hysteria. As part of the crowd sitting you play the part of the jury. One of the better tour/acts in Salem.
