Yeah. It was the same thing for me with the giant. The head did nothing. Surprisingly it did work ok on conji. But yeah, good in biomes, pretty terrible on bosses

Based on what i see of the Medusa head i would give it an A rating. Useful in wide variety of Biomes but useless against bosses so... Yeah.
