- Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) is a Layer 2 protocol that runs on bridges and switches. The specification for STP is IEEE 802.1D. The main purpose of STP is to ensure that you do not create loops when you have redundant paths in your network.

any video on etherchannel load balancing.
great
can RSTP be used for redundancy instead of ether channel, as both can provide reduandancy??
if we PORTFAAST TRUNK on logical interfaces ? will it create loop on two switches?
HI...I do the configuration but load sharing in each interface is different....2ports getting fully loaded, another one gets only out put packets alone ( Command used "sh int gi0/16" in which last 5min input out )
Hii..sir i am trying to configure ether channel in 2960 switch but i am unable give ''channel-group 1 mode on'' this command. i mean this command is not executing whats the issue.we are unable to configure in 2960 switches or else should configure in multilayer switch..?.
Can I able to include ethernet ports 21-24 on one switch and fe/2-5 on other switch and create port channel bundle?
Where is the load balance section?
What is MLPPP? Difference between port/ether channel and multilink PPP? Please explain and make Video on it
sir please give me your PDF file
Nice
sir can you help us with your lab book
sir i have 2 connectiom 2MB and 4MB ... can i configure Etherchannel ..
EtherChannel bundles can consist of up to eight physical ports of the same Ethernet
media type and speed.
same speed.. do u mean 2mb + 4mb not work.. ???
faizan khtri No both links either 2mb or 4mb.
Learn guidelines to Create etherchannel if u dont know.
+faizan khtri speed should be same
faizan khtri
No it will not work, in etherchannel, links speed on both sides should be the same, as well as duplex settings should be same.
