  • Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) is a Layer 2 protocol that runs on bridges and switches. The specification for STP is IEEE 802.1D. The main purpose of STP is to ensure that you do not create loops when you have redundant paths in your network.

      EtherChannel bundles can consist of up to eight physical ports of the same Ethernet
      media type and speed.

    • @faizankhatri414
      @faizankhatri414 Před 7 lety

      faizan khtri No both links either 2mb or 4mb.
      Learn guidelines to Create etherchannel if u dont know.

    • @krishnamoorthy4377
      @krishnamoorthy4377 Před 6 lety

      +faizan khtri speed should be same

    • @anwarahmed5342
      @anwarahmed5342 Před 6 lety

      faizan khtri
      No it will not work, in etherchannel, links speed on both sides should be the same, as well as duplex settings should be same.
