Motordyne Shockwave + ART Pipes Cold Start After Work

- *EDIT*
This was around the time I replaced the muffler as it had a crack in it. So it may be slightly even more quite than this if the crack was there at this point.
People always think Motordyne is SUPER loud, but to be honest it’s pretty tolerable if you keep your foot out of it. Here’s a cold start clip after work for reference.
Mods:
- Motordyne Shockwave Exhaust
- Motordyne ART Pipes
- AAM Competition Cold Air Intake
Insane dude, this is better than Tomei.
Lots more expensive though :(
@@LaughingSkull451you get what u pay for foo stop being cheap
holy sht RED+BLACK looks awesome
Asian Persuasion Thanks!
I’ve had 3 Infiniti’s and all 3 had motordyne exhaust. That’s the only reason I got them. That’s the best sounding exhaust for Nissan/Infiniti you could get period. Without art pipes it’s not loud at all. Even floored. Art pipes are loud. But if you keep your foot out of it it’s tolerable.
Wow its almost like a v8 rumble.
Damn one of the cleanest/ best sounding 370zs ive seen. What wheels are those?
Slow VQ Thanks. This was my old setup on Eibach springs and Ferrada wheels. I don’t recommend them tho. They’re heavy and the paint is paper thin. It chips waaaay too easily. Loving my new setup: KW V3’s and Work CR2P wheels.
Is the drone tolerable with ART pipes? I currently have full motordyne exhaust with Tomei test pipes on my G37 and it drones like hell lol so I’m actually thinking about swapping for ART pipes.
Yovanni Moscote There is zero drone with this setup.
@@kyleloges7802 that’s so much cap I have the same exact set up as you on my g37 the drone is unbearable on late night driving 😂 regardless I still love it.
What diffuser is that and where did you get it? Beautiful car man
element-71 Thanks! It’s a carbon fiber Fujimura diffuser from RHDJapan.com
I currently have motordyne exhaust I just ordered art pipes how much louder does the art pipes makes the exhaust sound
I have some cold starts and audio clips on my channel.
@@ThatRedNismo how is the drone with that particular setup?
Zero drone but can you still feel/hear it from inside the cabin while cruising? Windows up of course.
Its Sway If you’re cruising under 3k rpm it’s pretty mellow, but not silent.
Kyle Loges appreciate the answer! I’m looking to get this system for my Z
Its Sway It’s a little expensive, but so worth it. You will not be disappointed.
Any foul smell with this setup? any codes? Thanks in advanced
ImBills Nothing that’s offensive to me. If you stand at the rear of the car and get close you can smell it a little. But, it’s not like you’re gonna be driving, stop at a light or stop sign, and be engulfed in fumes lol. I’m tuned on EcuTek, so post header O2 sensors are turned off so I don’t have to deal with any codes. These were turned off on the setup I had before this one. So not sure if the ART pipes would throw a code if you are on the factory tune. They aren’t directly in the exhaust stream. They have J shaped bungs that help, but can’t say for sure.
Oh lord! That sounds like a V10 engine
No it doesn’t
How about the CEL ? And how can u deal with it ?
No CEL.
Dang that sounds just like a GTR
How much drone with this setup?
Tyler Stevens None. I originally had Fast Intentions RTP with Motordyne Shockwave and it was droney when cruising on the highway. I switched to ART pipes and all drone went away without adding any rasp.
@@kyleloges7802 When you had the Fi RTP was it way louder? Or how were they compared to the art pipes?
waiting for 400z
what bodykit you have ?
Carbon Fiber Fujimura Diffuser, Stillen Side Skirts, Aeroworkz Carbon Fiber Front Lip, and Shine Auto Rear Spats.
