Please tell me how could recycle this filter to reuse by replacing the inner stuff and clipping the lid back again which is actually a technical concert.
Cutting it open with grinder is fine as long as you do it at the top. When inspecting the filter media just cut an inch below where you cut the top off and no contamination will be in that part of the media.
Two things.... saved 60.00 and now own a good pair of tin snips.

Some filter yes, some like Frams no. A side cutters first to make the cut, then a snips along the edge works most of the time.
Tried this with a Toyota filter, worked. Hyundai, no way. I still use an air hamer with a sheet metal triming blade. Noisy and mesy but it works.
I use a old can opener to take off the lip

Doesn't work . Oil filter material is too tough for tin pliers .
