Honestly, I don't find him harsh. He needs them to be at the standard so he is pushing them. He knows they have the potential to do it and yes, I am speaking from experience.
Most trainers are like this. This is normal. Look at china. Their mentor/ coach etcc is even more intense and ever more harsher. They even make their students cries and to suck it up lol
@@huyquoctran2088 and that is exactly why I think that the hosts are too lenient.
yep. If he being soft it will only make them banana forever..going nowhere
He wasn't harsh at all. He was actually super nice and explained things in a nice way. If you've ever taken ballet, you probably know how strict a teacher can be! I think they just said all that for drama.
True it’s a variety show after all supposed to entertain
Yeahh,at least he show the move, not just talk rubbish only to student 🤓🤓,
True. He's actually one of the gentle ones. 😂
He’s not harsh. He’s like the Conductor and Fashion bosses episodes ago (forgot the names sorry 😓). The commentators on the previous two question their strictness but ultimately understand later on that it works and results great.
Boss kim right or tradisional fashion?
Boss Kim and Director Kim, they were the reason why I watch this show
As long as there are no chairs flying, he’s an ANGEL. People here who have attended reputable dance schools know what I’m talking about.
Yes true.. there was a time my teacher throw a desk at us because we got it wrong so yeahh he not tht harsh✋
I mean I didn't attend dance school but I was involved in martial arts performance. There was one time where the coach threw a brick at us, of course I'm not hurt by it
I still can't get with MC when they be like " he is only 12" . Yes, he is young but also he already in the industry which he need to be professional. Being scolded is normal, it is to improve. It is not like the boy is getting scolded without a good basis LOL
@up yours I was going to say that. I really love this program but the panel always acts like the "boss" invited is a tyrant over their employees, when in fact its normal and a standard. Yet, they always scrutinise the bosses, like can they stop over exaggerating for the show.
Let's be honest, if he goes on that big stage and he performs poorly it will affect him more than the coach. Experts and critiques won't be as nice as his teacher here. There are so many aspiring dancers in his line of career, if you want to make it you need to make the most out of every performance. His future career relies on it.
I really hope to see more of his segment!
He is pretty standard for dance teacher 😂. They will create a beautiful performance though. Broadway is not easy children play. You can do it!!
I've a degree in theatre. Tom is an angel. He communicated what he wanted clearly and he didn't yell or scream or curse. He's an efficient director. It's not his job to be soft.
I feel like he explained it quite well? He complimented on what needed to be complemented and explained clearly what he did wrong but not being rude, sometimes using a bit of sarcasm like «like a banana ». He even showed them by dancing together !
he’s not being too harsh. it’s quite normal in this industry and u need to perform up to a certain standard. giving feedback helps the dancers become better and help their dancing become even more refined
if he’s harsh… sign me up. there’s absolutely worse around where i am. that’s how you improve and master it and you can tell at the end, they did just that.
Omg the hosts of this show need to take a damn chill pill! He’s doing his job and isn’t even being mean about it! I wouldn’t have blamed the guy if he decided to walk out of the show.
There is no NG cut when they perfom onstage so its undestandable why he keep ask them to do it again & again
I do think people are missing the point of the show. this show is like the comfort for subordinates or people that are working under people, the things that you wouldn't be able to say directly to your boss, these panelists are saying it for you although they're often exaggerating. Truthfully even if your boss isn't saying anything bad or do anything bad, when you know you make a mistake, and make your boss angry, you'll feel disappointed or scared. The panelists are saying the things you want to hear from your friends or anyone around you if you're in that position.. but at the same time, at the end of the day, they also make people understand without the things these bosses did, we couldn't really achieve the goals that we're going for.
I think its good that he is serious... The outcome is they improve really well...
He's not strict, my choreographer is literally throwing shoes and curses at me🙃. But outside training they're so friendly💕
Oh my god. Same here. 😂 I just duck, laugh it off, and move on. 😂
Honestly this is every dance class ever 😂
It's not harsh at all... He's even an encouraging coach and a very good one
Actually he is such a "soft" one.. no flying thing no cursing words. He just try to summon the best version of the actors. Really like it that he appear on the show, so people know how a great art created. And the MCs just doing well with their role, looking for the bosses mistake (even though it isnt a mistake) hohoho...👏👏
Wow he is intense😳. They are improving though.
Not really, trust me there are teachers that are 10x worse hes honestly
U call this harsh???? What about behind the scene in the kpop industries?
exactly! Its probably 10x worse
He's not telling them off or shouting at them angrily, he's just showing them how to do it right and making sure they get it... good teacher imo
He’s not really harsh honestly, he’s scary for real but I get the point of being strict. Their choreography is intense and they're working with four 12 year old kids one wrong move the actors can be injured so the choreography needs to be perfect.
Lmao if this is harsh, then my dance teacher from age 10-18 was ROUGH AS ROCKS
he's not harsh at all. It was just the right amount of being "stern" and "strict" and he's actually really nice because he explained the mistake and how to make it right. My dance teacher once said: *Being too gentle/nice on your students will make them like you but won't take you seriously, being too strict will make them hate you with some even turning their backs on you but giving them the right amount of "seriousness and niceness" will make them trust you so they can learn properly and reflect on their own.*
i dont find him harsh tbh.. how could he ask if that harsh 😬 he just giving an advice actually
I think they are crossing the line by keeping calling him American psycho when he is not psycho he is a professional man and he is not American i suppose from the accent ... especially that he doesn't seem to have a accepting positive reaction each time he is called that .... They should respect his career and professionalism and not to tell him how to get his job done
i don't find him harsh at all he explains calmly without yelling and etc.
Whattt this is nothing compared to my ballet teacher TT why they making him feel badHAHAH
are koreans soft? u cant be nice when it comes to this stuff or they’ll walk over you. gotta be tough and handle criticism in order to be on top and get stuff done
For a dance teacher he’s already being quite patient my dance teacher once threw a shoe at us HAHAAHAH
I think those people judged the instructor too HARSHLY
Compared to my trainers, he's fucking nice as hell
if they think this is harsh, they should meet my russian dance teacher LOL
they are called trainers. People are crybaby sensitive nowadays
That ep did they start appearing in this show?
They should invite china Olympian trainer. Then they'll knw. This is just normal.
I do know it's the concept of the show and they tend to exaggerate a lot but... sometimes the hosts are so annoying
What episode is this?
125
He's not harsh at all
Billy Elliot?
Yup2
Nah he's not harsh, i had a dance teacher much worse than him 🙃😂 he's actually nice. Also when u work in theatre, this is the standard of it all.
I don’t see this as harsh this is normal in performing arts. Why do they keep bringing this people in this program when it is the nature of their job to be straightforward.
But like they always say your mean like kinda irritating smtime
Feel for them it must be hard dancing away like that while wearing a mask.
It's not at all
Maybe the translation makes it more harsh hahah bc what he is saying when translated is more emphasises due to the nature of the words
hes not harsh at all man my middle school pe teacher was way more harsh than him for a grade that didnt even matter in the long run..the only thing he could work on was try to talk through things with the hosts instead of just shutting down and being like "ok....ok" when they were saying how he could be a bit kinder
AND AND AND AND AND AND AND AND.....
Ehhh the hosts are annoying sometimes .
i don’t he was harsh.
