    Honestly, I don't find him harsh. He needs them to be at the standard so he is pushing them. He knows they have the potential to do it and yes, I am speaking from experience.

      @huyquoctran2088 Před 2 lety +26

      Most trainers are like this. This is normal. Look at china. Their mentor/ coach etcc is even more intense and ever more harsher. They even make their students cries and to suck it up lol

      @@huyquoctran2088 and that is exactly why I think that the hosts are too lenient.

    He wasn't harsh at all. He was actually super nice and explained things in a nice way. If you've ever taken ballet, you probably know how strict a teacher can be! I think they just said all that for drama.

    He’s not harsh. He’s like the Conductor and Fashion bosses episodes ago (forgot the names sorry 😓). The commentators on the previous two question their strictness but ultimately understand later on that it works and results great.

    I still can't get with MC when they be like " he is only 12" . Yes, he is young but also he already in the industry which he need to be professional. Being scolded is normal, it is to improve. It is not like the boy is getting scolded without a good basis LOL

    • @michellemartinez6427
      @michellemartinez6427 Před 2 lety +6

      @up yours I was going to say that. I really love this program but the panel always acts like the "boss" invited is a tyrant over their employees, when in fact its normal and a standard. Yet, they always scrutinise the bosses, like can they stop over exaggerating for the show.

  • @michellemartinez6427
    @michellemartinez6427 Před 2 lety +44

    Let's be honest, if he goes on that big stage and he performs poorly it will affect him more than the coach. Experts and critiques won't be as nice as his teacher here. There are so many aspiring dancers in his line of career, if you want to make it you need to make the most out of every performance. His future career relies on it.
    I really hope to see more of his segment!

  • @jackiele5019
    @jackiele5019 Před 2 lety +108

    I've a degree in theatre. Tom is an angel. He communicated what he wanted clearly and he didn't yell or scream or curse. He's an efficient director. It's not his job to be soft.

  • @MissGourmandefr
    @MissGourmandefr Před 2 lety +17

    I feel like he explained it quite well? He complimented on what needed to be complemented and explained clearly what he did wrong but not being rude, sometimes using a bit of sarcasm like «like a banana ». He even showed them by dancing together !

  • @aesthfxy1454
    @aesthfxy1454 Před 2 lety +12

    he’s not being too harsh. it’s quite normal in this industry and u need to perform up to a certain standard. giving feedback helps the dancers become better and help their dancing become even more refined

  • @serqsdps
    @serqsdps Před 2 lety +21

    I do think people are missing the point of the show. this show is like the comfort for subordinates or people that are working under people, the things that you wouldn't be able to say directly to your boss, these panelists are saying it for you although they're often exaggerating. Truthfully even if your boss isn't saying anything bad or do anything bad, when you know you make a mistake, and make your boss angry, you'll feel disappointed or scared. The panelists are saying the things you want to hear from your friends or anyone around you if you're in that position.. but at the same time, at the end of the day, they also make people understand without the things these bosses did, we couldn't really achieve the goals that we're going for.

Really like it that he appear on the show, so people know how a great art created. And the MCs just doing well with their role, looking for the bosses mistake (even though it isnt a mistake) hohoho...👏👏

  • @imjesselaaa3411

    He’s not really harsh honestly, he’s scary for real but I get the point of being strict. Their choreography is intense and they're working with four 12 year old kids one wrong move the actors can be injured so the choreography needs to be perfect.

  • @mauve7493
    @mauve7493 Před 2 lety

    he's not harsh at all. It was just the right amount of being "stern" and "strict" and he's actually really nice because he explained the mistake and how to make it right. My dance teacher once said: *Being too gentle/nice on your students will make them like you but won't take you seriously, being too strict will make them hate you with some even turning their backs on you but giving them the right amount of "seriousness and niceness" will make them trust you so they can learn properly and reflect on their own.*

    I think they are crossing the line by keeping calling him American psycho when he is not psycho he is a professional man and he is not American i suppose from the accent ... especially that he doesn't seem to have a accepting positive reaction each time he is called that .... They should respect his career and professionalism and not to tell him how to get his job done
