Smells like teen spirit encapsulates everything a true teenager feels from the angry and sad yet beautiful guitar and bass, and the pounding frustration that the drums symbolize. The lyrics are what a teen would say as well with the yelling of Kurt making it feel like it was a teen singing it
If I were Kurt Cobain, I would be so proud of this.
I think he would be. He'd also probably have been mystified by such a "serious" interpretation of what he meant to be a flippant pop/rock piece.
Cobain wrote such beautiful and melancholic melodies that are often overshadowded by his distorted guitars and screams. Nirvana was the last great band.

It was the least talented band of the 90s. Not even hating I like Nirvana but really compare it to anything else... alice in chains, pearl jam, audio slave, STP, radio head, even the offspring and green day were more technically talented nirvana is probably the most prolific but that's why Cray baby ass Cobain killed himself his music was to popular and he didn't think he should have gotten the recognition he did.
