As some have mentioned Rainism is an Iconic song which came out in 2008(If I remember correctly) by singer/songwriter/ producer Rain Bi(Pronounced Bee but he just goes by Rain- He currently is one of the producers on I-Land and is helping with the trainees from that show by CJE and BigHit). Think of it like JT's Sexy back. Because this song and the original MV were just that. It's common for other Idols at certain music shows to perform songs from other artists. BTS had performed many and this was just one of them but I did want to correct you on why Suga/ Yoongi wasn't there- This was after his appendicitis(which happened in 2014) this is when he hurt his ear( he had to stop wearing an in ear over that ear for a bit till it healed).
