I agree. They had so much detail and magic. Plus lots of Barbie’s roles were done by Kelly Sheridan and I like how the first three movies started with Barbie telling Kelly a story. Plus who doesn’t love a good Barbie transformation? I love the first three transformation outfits because they were so pretty and sparkly

barbie movies nowadays are modern and lack the old movies un synced lips also the low quality animation. Honestly the Barbie movies in the 2000’s-2011 is really the golden era.
Fashion fairytale is one of my favorites. All the older movies have that nostalgic feeling they’re all good. The new ones are meh I’ve seen all the old ones. The newer ones just aren’t the same

The Spy Squad is the worst movie Patricia is just Barbie copycatting off of Catwoman, Barbie doesn't voice herself and the movie lacks stakes and suspense this is a movie that just wanted to follow the bandwagon for no reason other than just because it was popular. And it didn't work. I would definitely not sit down to watch it again let alone buy it that one is the lowest of the low of Barbie movies and there is no arguing it it is even beneath Barbie Diaries for me. Those two are the least exciting but at least with Barbie Diaries we get to see the pros and cons of being a bias reporter and thd consequences which follow which is really actually what Barbie Diaries is really about and is a fictional story film that did not happen in Barbie's real life. For the sake of younger kids out there even more modern than me I would not recommend this movie to them it is so cliché and so boring too! This should be ranked as 42 not number 30. It's pretty bad. You should explain why you placed it at 30 because nobody else would have a good reason.
For me I don't have a favorite of the old movies but love them all equally.
But best Ballet: Barbie in the Pink Shoes is the best ballet of the modern Barbie movies.
Best Musical: Rock 'N Royals is the best Modern Musical
And my favorite Modern sister Adventure: Barbie Dolphin Magic Adventure
Barbie & Her Sisters in the Great Puppy Adventure.
The other modern movies are in the okay it's still good category except for Princess Charm School.

@@sakshimishra5682 Dolphin Magic- Stacie to the Rescue are all on Netflix. The others I’d search around or rent online because otherwise you have to just get the DVD or Bluray due to either Mattel or CZcams not liking the movies posted (at least mostly in English)

When I was a kid, I saw this charm school movie is pretty good. I liked it. My sister's top favorite in childhood. I think so now too. We can relate with our real life and movie script and this is what I mainly liked about (just without that crowning moment) as compared with everybody's student's life.👍 tough, unpredictable, improvement and so on.
I have seen princess charm school more than 10 times but I still love to see it again and again😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

i was really really young when i had watched my first barbie movie ever and that was barbie diaries. barbie movies used to be telecasted on tv every sunday 7pm and i used to watch them every week. my fav were fairytale and mermaid series and mariposa too. now that i'm older i don't get enough time to catch up with the newer ones.

- Barbie 12 dancing princesses (The beautiful dances, the cute message about family, the scary villain, the music. It's a great movie, i love it 🥰)
- Barbie magic of pegasus (Another cute message about family, the cloud kingdom, Aidan and Anika being sassy was funny, Brietta's situation was so sad. The music was nice too!)
- Barbie Mariposa (The beautiful Fluttefield| fairy island, the adventure, the flying bunny, Mariposa is brave and kind; i like her!)
- Barbie princess and the pauper (The songs, the story, the iconic villain. I like everything about it 🙂)
- Barbie island princess (It's like tarzan but with a girl, had nice songs and likable characters... except the annoying elephant who was also a bit ugly. Queen Ariana KILLED her husband and forced her daughter to marry a prince plus she poisoned all the animals. She's a good menace!)

My favourites are The Nutcracker and The Twelve Dancing Princesses
I was in High school when these movies started coming out, but I remember my best friend's little sister had all the Barbie movies that were made up to that point on DVD. Now that I am a girl mom I have started collecting both DVD and digital versions of the Barbie movies so that my daughters will have them. I can tell you their favorites. My 4-year-old loves the Nutcracker. She has a literal crush on Prince Eric in Nutcracker form. 🤣 its too cute. Followed by Ther Mermaid Tale movies, The Secret Door and Three Musketeers. My 3 year Olds favorite is Fairy Secret, followed by Rapunzel, Diamond Castle, and Princess Charm School.

I know these movies were made for kids but nowadays that doesn't necessarily mean they're suitable. Has anyone seen anything in any of them that they were a bit concerned about. I can't sit through 42ish hours of Barbie cartoons to check for myself - I struggle to sit through even one of them 🤪😄 . TIA
I think their all suitable for Children.I watched many of them as a Child and the older ones are actually darker but none to dark

@@sharlajain diamond castle has some dark elements to it, even their choice of colors are a bit dark. Barbie diaries involves a liar boy who cheats on Barbie in a way, and at some point, Barbie also secretly records videos of some popular girls (while maintaining a friendship with them) and then releases those clips or informations as a "news report".

Personally, Princess and the Popstar, Video Game Hero, and Mermaid Power should have been at least a bit higher, but I don't have a huge issue with them being low. Just cause things are better than something else doesn't mean the something else is bad.
Barbie Rock 'N Royal s deserves to be top 5 though...
I've never watched Magic of Pegasus but I like the main character so it can stay at #1, even if Rock 'N Royals deserves that spot.

Barbie: Mermaid Power: 7?/10 (I just thought the main antagonist , Amy Tang (I think that's her name) was kinda attractive.)
